I was five years old (1995) and every time I would go to my grandparents house I watched this movie for about four years until finally the VHS was lost and that was probably the worst summer ever for me since I didn't get to watch Sholay everyday that summer. Anyway, the part where they throw the glass made me cry every single time! Oh, how I miss good movies, those summers, and that original classic VHS tape in the age of Blu-ray and 3D dvd's...

You know, funny thing this, I'm white. I know this film from my wife who's Asian. We have an old video of this with subtitles, hence why I understand it. I have told soooo many friends about this film who are not Asian and they look at me like I'm mad but this really is a fantastic film. I saw the alternative ending for this on YouTube and it is much better but never the less great film with great songs. Anyone don't believe me about getting the kids to sleep, don't knock what you ain't tried!

Gabbar is a great Villain and I am thankful to him for peace and quiet when my kids were young. When they messed about and would not go to bed I used to tell them I would call Gabbar so they could tell him why they would not go to sleep. Peace and quiet for the rest of the night. Long live Gabbar.

Dharmendra is having trouble posing with his hands tied,as he has to puff his chest and keep his paunch sucked in. Secondly the stupid cow actually starts dancing on broken glass instead of dodging the pieces. Plus who wipes Sanjeev kumars arse? Think of the time he got dysentry.Who fed him or who cleaned his snot or filth in his eye in the morning. Moreover he had to be held while squatting taking a dump.
