Ok thx Jonny I will check on that but I had another question the QSB u use in the tut that is next to the av port is smaller and not the one u used I just ordered that one u have used shud be here thurs but I was wondering if that was like an up date or somethig else not needed
I love this Tut, One because his Xbox is the same as mine so i can follow it the whole way through and do EXACTLY what he does. And two its well thought out and very easy to follow. I have 1 question though. With freeBOOT installed does that mean i can go online? And if i go online will i get banned quickly? I heard you do but im still confused about it. Regards :)
@IS0Modz Hey there! Thank your kind words towards the tutorial. :) Yes, you are correct. You can not go online. If you do, it'll be a short while before they can your console from XBL. Otherwise, have fun. :D
hey johnny i beleave the new dash update blocks the fats now as it changes the cb but not on slims is this right the same way they burnt the efuses back in the day on the old jtag hack
yeah hi mate i have a problem all the lights are on the coolrunner and nand x but when i click the flash glitch thing it opens the cmd window thing but it does not read the blocks/nand thing then it says the glitch thing was successful then take me to read the nand then it can not read the nand
@XxGLITCH3RSxX Ok, let's see here. PM me some pictures of your install and screen shots of what's going on there. Sounds like there might be a cold joint somewheres. We'll have to see here. Also, there might be some software issues on your end. I'll see what I can do. :)
hey when i plug the nandx to coolrunner cord in then the nandx into the computer and open jtag tool and go to program the coolrunner it says no device found error can not continue but the computer recognizes the thing but it says driver was not sucessfully installed.....i was wondering if it was my soldering or something else please respond back as soon as possible if any1 has an idead or knows what this is please let me thankyou
@swordies14 I can say that it's 99.9% a soldering issue. Check the underside of your board. If you soldered in the wires, individually, the wires will sometimes fray out underneath the board and touch another point, which will cause the computer to spit this error. Let me know what you find.
@scouseladd Thank you very much. :) Beautiful pups you've got there. My best friend has golden labs and I enjoy their company, well, when they're not pouncin' all over me. haha
im having trouble with my nand. ive had 3 errors so far and its been over 30 minutes of reading. i read online and i understood that its ok to have a couple of errors as long as i have 0 matching blocks i believe? please help
@LakeeeVFilms Yes, definitely. If you have a problem with JTAG tool, just use NandPro and use the command nandpro usb: -r64 nanddump.bin and you should be all set. Just be sure to double check and get those matching dumps.
@Badger5656 Big block (BB) is for some consoles (Jaspers) that have some built in memory on the NAND. It's either 256 or 512 Megabytes of "onboard" storage. You don't need to dump all of a BB NAND. Just the first 64 Megabytes is needed. Nandpro commands for one is: nandpro usb: -r64 nanddump.bin (this command is for a NAND-X or USB flasher)
Great tut i followed it to the T but i get a error: 250 reading block 201 an 229 got any ideas what i can do to fix this. Can't get it to boot put org nand back and it fires up Np. Any help would be great thx's.
@Badger5656 Hey there! Sorry you're running into trouble. What kind of board do you have? There's another way of flashing the glitched NAND back to your console, via the rawflash method. First things first. What board do you have and how big is your NAND? Is it a Big Block? We'll take some steps and see what can be done. :) Thank you for watching my videos. :)
@XJonnyGunsX great video im having same problem after writing my ecc file back to xbox switched coolrunner back to normal and switched xbox on with eject button but it wont boot to xell could you help me plz dont know whats went wrong uve got a falcon opus mb
@Badger5656 i got the same error. when i got it i closed the window. now i cant read the nands again and im worried my xbox is trash now. let me know if you figure anything out :)
@Badger5656 Thank you for your support on the tutorial. :) Hmm, I'm sure you've got it sorted by now, but if JTAG tool is being a bit of trouble, try using Nandpro all by itself.
Get to your Nandpro and use the command nandpro usb: -r16 nanddump.bin
After that do the same command: nandpro usb: -r16 nanddump2.bin
If you still get those errors then check your soldering. Are you using flux for the points? 250 is an empty block error. Let me know what happens.
Excellent video! Very well done, this helped me enormously. I'm having a problem though. I followed your guide step by step - Xell booted, I got my CPU key, and I used 360 multi builder to write the .bin back to the 360. Now when I boot however it starts to load the 360 boot logo but then just freezes. Seems to freeze at different parts of the boot sequence but I left it for 5-10 minutes and it won't boot. Tried about 5-6 times. Xell still loads fine when I boot with eject. Can you help?
@cb3dard Been here before. I know what you mean with all the freezing. It's between the blue and green wire placements. I had to finagle to holy heck on one Jasper. It did exactly the same thing. I had to keep messing with wire placements and whatnot. Have you got it sorted?
@sk8gio13 This is the software programming part of the Reset Glitch Hack. It's essentially programming your xbox to work with the mod chip that you would install prior to this video. :)
Hey dude, just to add the new Jtag tool has a seperate programing for Reset glitch hack wich inlcudes the new FreeBOOT for the newest 499 dashboard....

@SquashGangansta Sure! I was planning on it, but I can not get my hand on another Cygnos Rev E Dual NAND chip for a reasonable price. I'm waiting for the DemoN from Team Xecuter. They mentioned how they might be showing more about it after the chinese new year (Jan. 23rd over here) They said something that it's going to take several weeks longer.
hey man thanks for the tut i follow all the steps up to writhe the ecc , but when i try to turn on my xbox the middle ligth just flash and never get to xell to get the cpu key .
i don get any error in the process can any body help thanks !!
@TheMasterOfMusic321 I'm sorry, I haven't left a link to the first video if you've watched this one first. I'll fix that. :) Sorry for the trouble. Look for Part 1 and I'll see how to program the cool runner.
Great Video BIG Props..............I Have 2 questions. can i read the nand before i install the coolrunner or do i have to install it first? also i have a jasper, how can i tell witch one i have?
Will this still work with new Xecuter Cool Runner Revision B? What I mean is that the soldering will be the same? Please respond. Great tutorial, easy to follow.
@MrT0RR3NT Yes! It will work the same. :)) All that is added to that board is that there is a capacitor installed right into the chip. :) It helps with a quicker boot time, if you're stuck with slower boot up times.
@scottycd You do have to solder the NAND-X's leads into the Xbox's motherboard. Team-Xecuter has created helpful quick solder boards (QSB) that solder to the right area. The NAND-X includes the little cables that plug right in to the QSB's. :)
could u make a tut on how YOU would mount the nand-x within the xboxso you can then assemble it and be able to just put the usb in the xbox without taking it apart.
hi johnny. great video and very easy to follow. i have one question thou. i have read on the team xecuter website that u should remove resister R6T3 to prevent accidental updates but u have not shown in u video. is it a necessary step?
How can I put my 360 back together with the required hardware inside of it? As I don't want my 360 to be completely exposed after I get this installed.
Got all my parts ordered to do this, but quick question. Does the 360 multi builder you use automatically upgrade the dash to the newest one? If I understand what I read its does, but just want to make sure. Also with this, do you still need modified firmware on the dvd drive?
@hondast90 That's silver tape that's been put on top of the heat sync. It's not recommended by everyone, but I have a couple of xbox's that have had it installed prior to my purchase of the console. @XJonnyGunsX whats up with the 2 handed soldering.. and you're not suppose to put solder directly on the iron.. you gotta heat up the wire/area and apply solder to it.. no wonder you killed the southbridge .. :)
Great video tutorial ... wished I'd found it before I RGH my Falcon .. I was easy and successful. Getting ready to RGH my 512 Jasper ... hopefully it goes as smoothly as the Falcon RGH.
First off, excellent tutorial. Going to try this in the morning. Couple questions though. Once you're all done, how do you get to FSD? and isn't it possible to edit a file such that FSD boots automatically instead of NXE? Thanks!!!
@mrperson2008 Go back to the board and see if there's any solder joints that may not be complete. I've gotten errors even when I thought I had everything soldered in. Just double check that first. :) There's several programs out there that help re-map the bad blocks.
