  • I thought Gordon did well.

Cameron is a twat of the highest order.

  • Not really a fail. . . Do people realise to get out of a recession you increase spending not cut it. if you cut, you dont make money, you have to spend more

  • They shake their heads at the end and say 'rubbish', but what Brown said is exactly what the Tories ARE doing.

  • Gordon Brown has more brains in his little toe than Cameron has in his head, the upper class dick !

  • spend spend spend............

  • not one person in that room really gave a flying fuck about the people in the uk

  • @butchd2010 I wonder how many of them you've talked to personally, how many you've met, how many you grew up with, how many personal stories of their's you know to be able to make that judgement.

  • @Cnd1867 how many have u met i read the nes i see the lisbon treaty i see how fucked the uk is in everyway ok so how many do you know how many have you met who do you vote for how many nurses do you know how many in the army in afgan do you know i know this NOT A SINGLE PERSON I KNOW HAD THE CHOICE TO VOTE ON THE TREATY OF LISBON NOT S INGLE PERSON I KNOW EVEN VOTED BROWN IN BEFORE HE SIGNED THE LISBON TREATY HOW MANY DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCHJ DO YOU KNOW

  • Whats wrong with people today, President Kennedy said "ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country"... All people talk about in Britain is "Why are my benefits being cut?", "Why are the torys doing this"... For god sake you moaned for ages about how crap Labour was, how they fucked up Britains economy but when change finally comes you still have the cheek to complain!

  • @MrPoliticalnews shame you cant back up your answers. gordon brown and tony blair created a huge government with a unsustanable economy which was bein paid for by a stupid amount of public sector jobs. dont blame the conservatives for the cuts and job losses. it was the fault of Gordon Brown trying to solve financial crisis by pumping huge amount of money into an economy that could not be sustained

  • I WISH GORDON WAS STILL PRIME MINISTER A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THE TWO CLUELESS TOFFS THERE NOW

  • Lol Jacqui Smith on the front bench

  • well give brown one thing the last 5 seconds of what he said were true and we are seeing them today. Cuts cuts cuts. blimey we'll be in another recession before you ccan say economic downturn.

  • @andrewz105 Oh my god! Why can't people get it into their thick skulls? It's basic accounting. If you are in debt you have to stop spending as much as you have done to get back into the black, it's simple! You have to cut back on your spending when you are in debt in everyday life, the countries coffers work the same way! Like I said, BASIC ACCOUNTING!!! If people dont like the cuts, blame Labour!

  • Typical Labour liar.

  • stimulus doesnt work didnt work in the "new deal" doesnt work today

there are lots and lots of well meaning people but to secure the financial well being of one group of people at the expence of another group of people is a violation of liberty and property, is an economic folly, and are the makings of a command economy

  • How about David Cameron vs Gordon Brown in Thunderdome?

  • hahaha. I love stupid fanatical labour idiots who think gordon's a saint. He sold all our gold reserves cheaply, now we want it back its gonna cost us a fortune, he borrowed and spent more and more and more over the years, and raised taxes, and actually if you'd bothered to look things up, he and alister darling are not even qualified bankers, yet they still claim to know what best for the country moneywise!

  • Gordon Brown has run the country into the ground, it's time for him to quietly step aside and stop trashing his own voters! The Conservative Party is the best chance to restore the U.K. to the great nation it once was... GO DAVID CAMERON!

  • simple as this: labour are fucking wankers.

this is the first time i've ever been interested in politics.

and i really actually hate gordon brown.

    tories all the way

  • The labor party have been in goverment for over 10 years and have shared in the wealth during that time. They allowed the banks to do what ever they wanted to do and never kept a close eye on them. Now the banks have busted their bubble and taxpayers taxpayers have to suffer because of it. Gordon will call any1 a bigot who has concerns about the future or income to support their family.

  • @mikesway23 Labour's contempt even for their own voters runs right the way through.

Do you think Labour peoples' communist pasts, paedo tendencies or treason were bad enough? You take a look at the Reds' bashing of Christianity, cashing in on still-legal drugs and plotting with the Libs to stay in power even if the Tories win!

Even other Lefties hate them for their warmongering!

Click my username to view NEW LABOUR'S TOTALITARIAN ANTI-CHRIST DRUG DEALERS DESERVE AT LEAST POLL DEATH!

  • @mikesway23 gordon brown didnt call that woman a bigot because of future income, he was calling her a bigot cos she wanted to deport the eastern europeans out our country, its prejustice...

  • Gordon Brown goes on about other countries money but the thing is you can see him writing it down when David Cameron is talking lol !! (fake numbers maybe)

  • I was going to offer some serious political analysis on this, but now I can't be bothered. Oh, go on then. Gordon Brown is a complete and utter CUNT!

  • why does everyone stand up all the time #?!

  • @johnpdedwards i think its to show they want to contribute something to the discussion-to get the speakers attention.

  • March 2010......if Brown and his Marxist cohorts don't start paying back debt soon then Britain's credit rating will fall from 3 to 2, to join Greece. At this point there will be a ' run on the £ sterling ' , selling en masse and interest rates will have to be raised to counteract the flow out. The value of the £ will nosedive and all imports/ debt will cost far more. All this to ensure the survival of a Marxist UK govnmt and the vainglorious leader Brown .

  • i see the video cuts out as soon as brown brings up the main issue about the tories. if tories get in then unemployment will raise and the nhs will fall. if you want the future of our country

  • @smileAssassin92

You think the NHS is working now? You certain that Unemployment is not going to rise whoever is in power?

  • @smileAssassin92 what he did was attack cameron for a view that was expressed by the governer of the bank of england, NOT david cameron. this is such a ridiculous argument on his part and I cannot believe you didn't catch that..

  • @smileAssassin92 Like it failed the last time labour was in you mean? That the tories then had to clear up the mess they made then like they are now. History just repeating itself.

  • Look at what Keynesian economics have done to people! Gordown brown is so fooled by a failing economic philosophy.

The stimulous doesn't make the economy better.....it makes the economy worse because of all the terrible mal-investments that will be implemented and all britain will be left with after the new bubble bursts is a even bigger recession and a bigger deficit!

  • 175,00 business i mean.

  • Unemployment will sky rocket when we final start paying our debt off. Over 175,000 have gone bust what help has borrowing really done?

  • Borrowing is not a solution it is the problem.

  • I want interest rates up greedy bankers knicking our money. Only home owners get anything out of it other than bankers. Thanks to Labour I may never own a house.

  • its just an intellectual battle

it doesnt matter whos right or wrong. words and notes are merely tools so you come out on top

  • hey im ot really into this stuff, i mean i thought G20 was some sort of concert. can anyone explain to me why when the leader of one party sayss something, 2-4 people from his,and the opposition, stand up. Is it tradition? thanks

  • hey, since your getting involved in politics, which is a rare treat nowadays i guess you deserve an answer.

The members who stand up are memebs who have question or points to make regarding what the leader of the other party has just said (although often they deviate from the topic very strongly).

    Hope that helps.

  • thanks, i get it now. nice name, it had 2 be said. cheers again

  • gordon brown as chancellor set up the country for a big fall by spending and borrowing truckloads of cash and as prime minister is borrowing even more money to cover his mistakes. he is a clueless halfwit who should have been shown the boot ages ago.

  • @mightyquaid1979 agreed but same as blair he started it all

  • 4:22 - epic 'wtf' face

  • Can't blame him..

  • I just feel that david Cameron is a smarmy man, who is exploiting the weak economic situation in Britain and using it to his advantage by pinning the blame on Gordon Brown, who i feel was dropped into power at a bad time by Tony Blair, as he himself wanted to avoid the pressure that Mr. Brown is came under at present. David Cameron is a smart man indeed, and a schemeer also, he knows how to use bad situations to his advantage and to Labour's disadvantage. He wouls suffer aswell in Brown's place.

  • Brown didn't have the balls to take on Blair openly. He plotted against him for years but didn't have the guts to stick the knife in. If Brown inherited No. 10 at a bad time, it was all his own fault for being so gutless. After Iraq, Blair was fatally wounded but Brown was too cowardly to make an open pitch for the job. For years Brown made himself out to be an economic genius but he had nothing stored up for a rainy day. He went on a mad binge for 10 years. As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

  • Gordon Brown is a poor leader, good in the cloakroom (with the dagger too) but it seems at the moment he is handing control to the tories.

On another note government and politics in general in the UK is a poor representation for the masses.

  • are you on crack my friend did you see cameran against andrew maar today oh my god man andrew maar the weakest interviewer hahaha !!! the budjet would go down soooo bad if cameran had his way fact !!!

  • I think some of the conservatives have got it right but Cameron is a toff and thats the only thing that I cant stand. Call me classist but he just doesnt seem like leader who'll help the working class. I hate the raising taxes and open door policy that the lib dems want and as for labour... well there really screwed to be honest, all in all I really dont know whos the lesser evil here

  • why not? because someone brainwashed you? or can you actually justify your rejection of the conservatives?

  • lol why do the people stand up then 5 seconds later sit down it stupid XD

  • To let the speaker know they have a question.

  • i hate Alistair darling

  • Never trust a Chancellor with Black eyebrows & white hair (Norman Lamont anyone?)

  • @zerochaz

you can tell by just looking at him, everything I dispise about Labour and the politically insane, weak dillusional society they have spawned.

A vile, sneaky paracitic little git - they should all be hung for treason.

  • seems to be that brown likes statistics but not taking action i bet if Brown actually did something....we would hav a bit more respect for him.

  • brown and the whole of the labour party are just a bunch of mumbling morons...they know there finished..there just clinging on for grim death

  • I notice Lib's are staying out of the stupid little arguments. The Parties need to stop arguing and get on and agree. The way it's going we're fucked if we want a gov who will do wel for us we need united parties that won't go head to head in stupid rivalries but who will talk sensibly and listen to one another. It's no longer about England it's about how many Labour priministers we have against how many Torrie priministers I refuse to vote until there's someone worth voting for.

  • I'd hardly call the budget defecit a "stupid little argument" as for your statement. that "the parties need to stop arguing and get on and agree" how will that benefit us? It would completely go against the whole point of parliament! I don't think you've quite grasped how politics works. I think this is backed up by the fact you say there are Labour "priministers" and Torrie (I'm presuming this is Tory) "priministers"... there is only one Prime Minister the others are Members of Parliament.

  • . It's not the fact the budget deficeit is a sttupid little argument it is the constant slagging of one another it's fine posing an argument with out talking about how one party is better than the other. Gordon says "It is not about the party games" Yet he himself still played them i I am prepared to say the priminister is the most troubled man in the country and the tory's seem to enjoy saying what he's doing wrong but when will they offer the solution.

  • goordon did act you fuck up he seems to have beat it are people blind to pure fact fuckin hell man i cant believe i have to suffer a fuckin toury government cuz you wankers cant think properly

  • Agreed.

  • actually it's pretty balanced, i wouldnt say that eithre of them conclusively "failed," but Gordon Brown did sound quite shaky.

    I hate the old speaker.

  • english politics are so cewl^^ in denmark everyone sit down and let eachother talk n' stuff yawn

  • David Cameron fails against Gordon Brown at PMQs (01Apr09)

    You tit :-)

  • i hate this system it mainly just arguments and petty comments against each other rather than coming to a decision

  • To be fair, this is only half an hour in the week. For the rest of parliamentary business they are much more collaborative, but, of course, PMQs is what we all get to see on TV. PMQs was only put into its current TV-friendly format by Tony Blair in 1997 with the aim of engaging the public, so it was his New Labour experiement that made the system much more sound-bite friendly. Of course arguing different positions can be helpful when it's done less superficially though.

  • It's a debate that's why!

  • doing nothing is still better then whatever brown tries.

    brown shit, youre done.

    new bailout ?

the previous worked so good, now a new1 is needed?

    any1 noticed nothing ?lol

  • restructuring money system ?

    lol, yeah.

    ANOTHER bailout?

    lol..

  • yeh england used to be the best but its shit now. im leaving liverpool to move to california

  • really? im in london and what to fuck off

  • i don't understand your comment, sorry.

  • u said your fucking off from liverpool to cali(smoke some weed)

and i said really i want to fook off from london

  • oh yeah no what u mean. funny u say u wana leave london. thats one of the places i wud actually consider movin in the uk

  • ahh but yove made your first mistake moving

but moving into the same country

  • Grow up, man.

  • 4:22 Cameron tries to push a fart out

  • LOL

  • 1st aprill, so ...

  • I thought that Gordon gave a relatively good defence of the fiscal stimulus actually. Of course, people want bryl-creamed mannequins as politicians though, I know.

  • I'm American so i don't know to much about this, but what do they Stand up after each person talks?

  • i think its a show of support of what the person just said.

I was amazed as well when I first saw this.

  • I think they want to reply... but when the front runner takes the word... they sit down again.

    But I'm not sure... :$

  • They're trying to catch Mr Speakers eye so he can select them to ask a question.

Cameron as leader of the opposition gets 6 questions, the leader of the Lib Dems (Nick Clegg) gets 2 and anyone else who gets chosen to ask a question gets 1.

  • Finally, somebody who has a bit of knowledge!!

  • How did anyone come to the conclusion that Cameron beat Brown? Brown beat the absolute shit out of Cameron in that debate. The fact is, David Cameron is wrong. Yes, we need to deal with the domestic issues, but the fact of the matter is, we're a global economy now. We NEED to deal with it as one. If we were under the Conservative party during this financial crisis, we would be FUCKED and it's as simple as that.

Brown has led the world through this financial meltdown and Cameron... Well... Cunt.

  • you should meet up with the guy you called a cunt, you should get on well, what with you been a prick n all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  • Wow, what a fantastic reply. I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad that people opposing my reply are so fantastically dimwitted. If you can formulate a proper reply, maybe I will consider taking you seriously.

  • BROWN HAS COMPLETELY STUFFED BRITAIN, I am not a labour or liberal/cons voter,I vote for the ones who will do best for the country,if that does well we all do well, can you see what a huge mess Britain is in since Labour came into power,Brown wasnt even elected,he is incompetant,he lied to us and refused us the Lisbon Treaty vote! he treats us with contempt, just like Blair,he is lining his pocket. We need Nigel Faraday and the UKIP,strong leader who will not be walked over by the EU.

  • Yes. Nigel Farage and UKIP would get us out of the corrupt EU. I think on the whole, UKIP have been more honest than any of the other political parties. The LibLabCon are all backward crackpots, and UKIP is the only way to go, to get out of the EU!

  • I think it's to show support for what the speaker just said.

  • i thought it was cos they wana speak next

  • So did I for a while but then I thought to myself "basically this is a 'debate' between the leaders and there's little if any chance of the others getting a say"

What you're saying might well be true though, I'm no expert.

  • This is so much more interesting then presidential debates.

  • HE DIED!!

    HE DIED SO HARD!!

    Did he died?

  • look a them, they're like a bunch of toddlers, jeering on, how pathetic

  • Did he die!?

  • Yesterday afternoon

  • Digging a hole for himself...

  • IT went from "this is how we fix this" to "you an idiot nyanyanya" :(

  • Gordon Brown talks a lot of bullshit

  • haha! well done! :L

  • wow! a fun debating session :)

  • lol

  • lul

  • Randomchris:

no.1 the PM didnt fuck up the economy as this is a global matter the banks are not american not british not astrian but it's the world banks anything that goes wrong in the economy was to do with the banks messing up not the govenment sure the govenment can help in such cases but the PM is doing a good job during this time it's not like he wanted this to happen and has done well.

  • god. You are a bunch of peasants who know nothing about politics or what is good for you. Gordon Brown is good for this country and you freaks don't know anything. The vote should be taken away from peasants like you because you know nothing about what is good for the country and everyone.

  • I hate his gesticulating claw!!

I actually quite like David Cameron!

  • Yes he's quite funny

  • I thought these guys came to blows more often than this. . . I totally agree with Sourside21.

  • Wow, UK parliamentary debates are so much more exciting than US congressional ones, lol

I wish we had the booing and cheering here in the US!

  • Agreed, a PC dissing match..

  • Any Brits notice that when Mr Brown went into power, our economy went tits-up!

He fucked up our economy.. 2p tax malarky.. Yes, no, yes, no... One eyed pr*ck

    He's a useless c*ck..

  • Bye bye Gordon. Don't forget to close the door after you - and don't worry about the horses - they've already bolted.

  • i need a shit

  • Gordon Brown is a real ass hole

  • No he isn't. He's an UNREAL asshole.

  • Gordon Brown is such a wanker, I can't stand him.

  • They could also just be cheering their side on =D forgot about that point hehe ^^

  • I think it depends whether or not they are on Brown's side or Cameron's side. If they are on Cameron's then they'll have something to say to Brown and visa versa.

  • Is it just me or did anyone else fail to see how Gordon Brown failed there?

  • they are all like a bunch of kids. "YAAAAAAAAAA"

    fuck sake

  • LOL.

    Brilliant quote.

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Well, I'm no expert, but when Cameron and Brown have finished having a go at each other then other MP's give out questions to answer if Cameron or Brown haven't touched on them already.

  • Points of information. You can interrupt a speaker if you have a directly relevant point or point of information - But cameron stands first, meaning he takes the points.

  • they stand up because I think they want to have a say in it as well

  • oohh i was just about to ask why they stand up, thanks

  • Is that to say that they agree with the point made? or that they actually want to say something about that point?

Because if its the second one I never see them actually getting a chance to state their point.

  • Althought we all hate the BNP, and their policies and ideas should never be instated in this country, it's what makes us a democracy, that admits the opinions of every political viewpoint, however hated or infamous.

Therefore, reluctantly, due to loyalty to his politics, I'm giving this bigoted, racist filth a thumbs-up.

  • shut up faggot pussy, you're a faggot pussy

  • Hey, I'm sorry that I believe everyone had a right to speak their mind.

And by the sound of your insults, you're a yankee.

So why are you commenting on politics you don't care about?

  • no i'm not from france, i'm english

    faggot shit poo

  • I didn't say France, you inbred moron.

    Yankee = American.

  • well that was a mistake on your part for misspelinng a french persin

  • yugface, shut up, you make no sence

  • My thoughts exactly.

And a yankee is SLANG for an American.

    Learn to speak, half-wit.

  • why do they stand up whenever the leader speaks? they don't do that in Australia

  • I wouldn't say Brown Failed. I've been swinging towards conservative as of late, but this made me think again, I think Brown kicked Cameron's arse!

  • I agree, why is the name Brown fails? Cameron says nothing about how to suceed, he just says how everyone else has failed....

  • British parliment is bad ass. I wish America's was like that. Very entertaining and interesting.

  • I would disagree! I am British and i prefer watching American politics :) Then again i am only 16 so maybe i don't know whats going on ^^

    ( :

  • Holy shit, the British parliment is a circus.

  • Why do some people stand up when one of them is done speaking? :S

  • Because they have something to say. The speaker of the house can then decide to let one of them talk.

  • Oh ok, thankyou.

  • Brown needs to look at Cameron, straight in the face and tell him to shut up!

Stop caring about your self and start thinking about Britain. I look at the conservatives and sadly i do not see them representing Britain as a whole. They just dont look like your average Brittish Joe.

  • Brown doesn't understand the situation, he thinks he has a solution, however he is only interested in the short term. Protecting the larger companies may preserve jobs but it just sets us up for a bigger problem in the future.

  • this is how the US senate should operate... ppl one on one going at it.

  • i doubt the senate can go a few round before making things personal

  • "Everyone's doing it"

Do we have a leader, or a sheep?

Bubble are caused by everyone doing the same thing.

  • Biggest cuts in interest rates (and quantitative easing), to give money from the prudent to the feckless (Labour voters).

  • I wonder if Brown knows that quantitive easing actually transfers purchasing power from people of fixed incomes (the welfare receipients and pensioners he is so fond of) to those who utilise the money first (bankers).

This stealth tax is unacceptable. Yet Cameron does not bring this fact up. I suspect the reason for this is that he does not want the public to know the truth about monetary base expansion and its immoral effects.

  • It is an inflationary measure, and inflation is a surreptitious way of transferring wealth from us to the government. It also devalues the government debt which is probably why they are pursuing this dangerous policy, because they have ran up so much debt. It says a lot about government policy when only Anatole Kaletsky seems to support it.
