  • Gram and Chris at their best....What could have been.

  • guilded palace of sin

  • Great song/album/group! has Cris Hillman been involved in some great music or what?

  • I bought the LP when it was first issued. Great then. Great now! I was always amused that the ladies chose to drape themselves around the 'little old shack out back!; Any idea who they were??

  • Very cool images. "Safe at Home"

  • me encanta la musica de u.s.a. campesina muy bonita.

  • Please post "Just Can't Be" by these guys.I would really love to here that song too.

  • Any song named Juanita is fine by me.....Thanks from one Juanita!

    ;-)

  • These guys were pretty good.

  • she was 17 when we met in 1972 and we are still together...she is my angel and that life she brought back still rocks

  • The jacket that he was wearing with the pot leaves on it , it's the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Good tribute.

  • Así se empieza el domingo... :)

  • LIVE IT LOVE IT!

  • to share with ya of women bout pure country

  • i just named my chihuahua puppy juanita after this song.... viva juanita!!!

granted my other one is named chupacabra.

  • gram was amazing but he just wanted to play with the stones , him bailing on south africa was nothing more than that, a very talented artist who got caught up in needle drugs, and threw away his talent and life for nothing, someone who had class and coulda been more than he was, wasted for something not.

  • Gram Parsons = COOL 1969

  • ahora me siento como del lado oeste del país. beautiful song.

  • CANCION DE 1969

  • Juanita ran off with Barney

  • @Oglenthorne

wait'll Thelma Lou hears of this!!..she'll nip it in the bud!

  • @dragoonee :D :D :D

  • i understand gp meet keef on the byrds tour of uk in 68, gp didn't go to south africa with byrds on stones recomendation. stone henge picture come from this time. big call when you just goin a band and pull out of tour." we ain;t gunna play sun city"

  • After Beggars Banquet, but Keef and Gram were one and the same by then-the ancient art of weaving had already begun...The Stones are a hard act to follow....

  • This is such a nasty pixelated mp3 it spoils listening to the song completely, but the pictures are excellent.

  • At 0:30 sounds like "Oh doctor, please help me I' m damaged bla bla" in Beggars Banquet . I wonder if the Stones took it from the Burrito or the contrary ...

  • not the contrary.

  • Stones stole evry song they recorded except for maybe three albums of material

  • Gilded Palace of Sin came out after Beggars Banqet, and well after it was recorded.

  • If its true, The burrito's brothers would've taken it cause BB came out in 68' and this album came out in 69'.

  • I do believe Beggars Banquet came out before this.

  • love these guys :)

  • I don´t care about the Beatles or the Stones, as long as i have The Flying Burrito Brothers.

    What a hymn.

  • What country singer made this a hit?

    Can't recall?

  • Chuck Willis (d. 1958). Same guy that wrote C.C. Rider. Poor man only made it to age 30. This cover version by the FBB is really, really good. Love the vocal harmonies and those opening guitar chords. Lots of depth and feeling in this tune.

  • This isn't a cover by FBB. Hillman and Parsons penned the tune.

  • I think I have a version by Emmylou Harris and Sheryl Crow.

  • accountant, sorry , chuck willis' juanita was a totally different song. Chuck wouldnt have written any thing like this.

  • thank you I just bought the bookand dvd, why is the whole death of Gram such a screwed up message, like Jim Morrison's?

  • Thanks for posting such a great song. Love all the excellent pictures too.

  • This is one of the best songs ever. Thank you for posting it.

  • Q.Were the Burritos the greatest country-rock band? A. They were the greatest band to ever play country or rock.

  • Great montage. That brunette model sure is hott!

  • Bravo, hiryu2015!

You brought tears to my eyes, taking me down memory lane with this Juanita video. Yeah, I own/possess many of the shots in this video, but this display was spetacular! Thanks, again.
