Mr.Battleaxe has 87 videos uploaded into his account, which has nothing to do with this comp. So you saw 87 and assumed it was entries into the comp, and for some unknown reason, felt the need to lie. What the heck is wrong with you? If one of the 3 guys you listed are your friends, your not doing them a service by doing crap like this.

What do you think of the Ibanez? Ive played for Ibanez for 20 years and had a collection of 10 Ibanez I lost in a house fire, and so only have a crappy RG I modified. Im getting ready to get a new Ax and was curious about the Xiphos and cant find one to try out. How does it rate playing wise to say RGs or S series? Does the neck feel the same?

@by0nd Thanks for the great feedback, well i've always been a fan of ibanez guitars and must say the xiphos is the best ive tried so far. One of the most amazing things in it id say is the neck. It comes with wizrd II which makes shredding and soloing smoother and easier than many other guitars. It also comes with dimarzio pickups which are insanely great. I'd say its been a great addition to ibanez guitar series. The only thing id worry about is about the neck's weight,other than that its great

@Mifumetal Thanks for the feedback my friend. I appreciate it. I really want to give one a try. Does it come with the Dimarzio USAs or the IBZs? I really want to give the RG3550mz a try also. It comes with Dimarzio Air Nortons and Tone Zone. And there being discontinued so you can find them for about 1200 vs the initial 1600. But I still wanted to give the Xiphos a try.

@Mifumetal Im also a big tapper and really liked what you showcased. Who are your major tapping influences? Im into the early pioneers of the 8 finger style ---Steve Lynch and Dave Celentano....Batten to a lesser extent. I also like Bucketheads use of atonal insanity. I also like Stanley Jordan but I have to be in the right mood, as some of his playing gets boring after awile as Im more of a metal guy lol

@Mifumetal Theres not alot of guys using it nowadays. Broderick is about the only new guy Im aware of that makes heavy use of it in his soloing. Most tappers use the more limited Webster/Bunker/Van Halen style, and not the full 8 digit like Chapman/Lynch/Batten/Celentano. Which is sad because the 8 digit really really opens up an entire world of musical fun lol.

@Mifumetal I have come up with my own twist. Because Im a speed picker, and dont have time to shift my pick grip, I tap with my middle,ring and pinky and only change this if the entire song is 8 digit tapped. So Im more of a 7 digit tapper lol. The only other guy Ive encounterd who does this is Bumblefoot. Its interesting that Broderick has the issue as me, and so he pioneered the thumb pick of his, so he didnt have to alter his grip, yet have all 4 fingers for his use.
