to all of you who are saying snakes are bad or whatever they arent, and sure they eat live food, why is that such a big deal? They would do it in the wild, why wouldn't they do it in captivity? sure it eats cute little animals but so does a lot of humanity. Get over it. Snakes can make wonderful pets just like dogs or Guinea Pigs, in this case yes the Guinea Pig was abused, and the snake breeder was a dick but that doesn't mean you should just go around making assumptions that snakes are bad.

In England it is illegal to feed live animals to snakes. I don't believe in snakes as pets, its immoral and inhumane.

@dingoprairie I have 2 snakes (one my brothers) but they are vegetarians and I would never think of feeding them live animals.My snakes mean the world to me actually,they were the pets of someone dear to me who passed away.I have 5 G/Pigs,don't worry they don't go anywhere near each other.My piggies are part of the family, they run all around the house. My snakes, live in the rumpus room on the ground floor of our house, in a room where the door is closed (ideal for them) i have dogs as well.

Snake breeders and those who buy from them are basically sadists and psychos. Australia should have a law like in England where they would be fined or jailed for this kind of torture.

I am an Australian and am interested in doing something about this. My 5 year old son wanted to look up piggy vids (we are piggy lovers here) on youtube and we almost watched one of these videos. Not only do they fed live animals to their reptiles they film them and upload them. Sickos! I agree they are sadists.

It breaks my heart that people can keep animals in such appalling conditions and not look after them. I am so glad you got to rescue Morgan. Hope he recovers well. Good on you fizzyjess.
