Very awesome I saw him today at the Anatolian Cultures and Food Festival in Irvine California, and what even amazing is that he still remember me when I first buy from him two years ago.

"Turkish ice cream" is called marash dondurma, it is made from ground orchid root and traditionally flavored with mastic. A reaction between the orchid flour and mastic causes it to have an odd stringy texture that is unlike anything else I've ever tasted. It's like risen bread dough that melts.
