@MKGxx Well, at this point the UAE pretty much have the biggest and best of everything, but the Eaton Centre does remain one of the top tourist destinations in Toronto even after all these years.
I remember when The Bay used to be called Simpsons a long time ago. And just a few weeks ago I read an article on Canadian fashion retailer Robin Kay. She's making a comeback and I remember her store on the second floor close to the Queen street exit.
did you also mention the hot girls walking around there. Was there last week...Jesus Canada got the hottest chicks in the world. Well, maybe except for Venezuela...
Well, I wouldn't argue that we do. Look at it this way, if we weren't blessed with our Canadian genes, Toronto is one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world, so we're really blessed with everyone's genes!
Toronto is all about options. I can choose from any number of restaurants in any number of culturally diverse neighbourhoods. I can choose to shop in any number of stores, attend any number of sporting or cultural events. I can stroll on the beach, walk in the park or people watch in busy downtown. And generally I can go most places at any time. Do I think it's as safe as it was when I was a kid? Or as clean? Or as kind? Probably not. But what big city can say it is?
I have been to Montreal, yes. But this wasn't meant to be a debate about ranking cities, it was a question about living in Toronto specifically. You could say the same thing I wrote above about many big cities, including Montreal.
Ah. Kicking a man when he's down, eh?!? Lucky for you I'm an agreeable sort...may you enjoy a long playoff run. While we watch helplessly from the side without a playoff game of our own to be had.
I lived at Bathurst and Lawrence for a few years. I'd say it's a pretty good area in that it is safe and there are lots of shops and services around. Not much nightlife, but you can go downtown for that
Yeahhh, I Love Downtown Toronto. So Many Things To See. Chanelle Store,MuchMusic, city tv, Honest Eds,Sam The record Man..which sadly closed down. Hockey Hall Of Fame,Cn Tower, Rogers Center Or Torontonians Still Call It SkyDome, Etc. I LOVE TORONTO
I used to walk through every morning to catch the subway to my old job. Now my office is attached to the Eaton Centre and I walk around there on lunch every day. It is great being back downtown!
So are there 2nd party stores which sell aeropostale because that's like my favourite brand....also what are the price ranges on polo shirts, graphic tees and plaid shorts? thanks alot man youve been really helpful so far
Hey dude i livei n the caribbean and i'm going on holiday soon near eaton centre are there like any aeropostale, hollister, abercrombie or american eagle stores in there? Also I need some good shoes (vans converse airwalks)
Aeropostale, no, but there are Hollister, Abercrombie and American Eagle stores in the Eaton Centre. As for the shoes, you might want to try the Athlete's World Superstore.
I used to walk through the mall every day on the way to work. It was part of my daily routine. Granted, it was before 7am, and the place is quite different when it's empty
