I never really cared for metal until a freind of mine introduced me to some Norwegian black metal, and while I won't say I'm now a fan, I certainly found something very intriguing in what I heard. At the time, I recall comparing it to opera in the shear drama of some of the music. Music knows no borders. As long as you can get your rocks off to it, it's all good!

@kokobaboko When I say God I don't mean the Christian, Islamic, or Jewish God specifically. I see the term God as an interpretation of the energy behind all life that drives it to live and grow. Giving that energy the name and personality of "God" is just a way of conceptualizing the energy in a humanlike form. I could have just said her voice is so great that it is Godly, but I think saying that God's voice is channeling through her body gives a better impression of just how moving her voice is

No she didn`t murdered it at all, she just made another, more ethereal version, of it but it`s still great :) And because of the venue, Sarah deserved to play there because she has the talent, the voice and the charisma to do it. Of course Lisa has those qualities too, but she isn`t so famous unfortunately. And because Sarah sang Sanvean, now more people know Lisa, before i heard Sarah sing it I also didn`t knew her. So Sarah helped Lisa in some way to become better known in the world :)

Her voice is just a bit too low for me, though I don't have a trained ear or anything. This one just doesn't move me, but no singer is for everyone's tastes. The whoever sang for the Hildegard von Bingen "Vision" and its sequel really moves me as does Enya, for sure. Her music sounds like something out of a fairy tale. I do like McKennit though, but not as much as the others I like. Oh yeah..then there's the "Chant" album.
