I hate the emmys, so political, some deserving actors are recognized like JJ but others are snubbed, hate it! This was suberb acting by both! So sad, hate what Guza did to them as a couple and individually!
@DreamlandExpress2007 Think the lines were blurred here between acting and reality. Rumor has it that they "wrote" those vows and were speaking to each other.... Talking about Genie's exit.
I am deciding what I am posting next... may go back a long ways.... think there will be some of "YOUR" Rick and Lesley involved!! You may enjoy that for real!
Oh I had forgotten the vows. I think this is when I seriously started crying. God Im a 27 year old man and scenes like this can still turn on the water works. LOL I guess it comes from growing up with Luke and Laura on my TV almost daily. Soap characters really do turn into almost family members if you're a really faithful viewer. I get so into anything Luke/Laura/Helena that sometimes I wonder if I need to be admitted for psych evaluation. LOL
Yeah, but tptb over at ABC daytime do not seem to get that and take our favorite characters that we have had in the house for years and on a whim turn them into strangers. That is why the audience of GH is so up in arms. Too much character destruction, and not enough stories based on the characters we love, or love to hate.Just explosions, fires and epidemics with too little emotion. NO?Hmm and if you need a psych eval there seems to be tons of us that need to be in line right after you!! ; D
well you seem to be hanging out with the right charactors if you feel the need for a psych evaluation. They could probably could give you a few tips.... LOL
Yes, I know what you mean. I feel the same way about Lesley and Rick. The first moment I watched GH, Lesley was on trial for the murder of David Hamilton and from then on until 84, Lesley (along with Rick, Laura, and Luke) were my faithful companions every day at 2pm. This was hard to watch on so many levels. I can't believe they chose this story and broke our hearts and still haven't rectified it.
I have one selfish question if you don't mind. Was there ever a sceen where Lesley sees Laura like this or acknowledges or mourns Rick or anything like that? I missed bits and pieces. If there wasn't there really isn't any hope for Guza and company. How could they not play that side of it out too?

Ok, thanks anyway. I hope someone else remembers. Regardless, I have enjoyed (sort of, if you know what I mean, lol) watching.

I so hope they do. I can't see how it makes any sense what so ever to leave it like "this"!

I am sorry I really do not have anything after this, and I don't recall. Hope someone else knows!
