This is not origami, it's kirigami because it uses scissors. And if you make a tutorial you should show it step by step, especially when you use scissors:)

both are flat,

we had to do this for a math project tho we made it a different way actually it was alot easier to make than seeing this video but i had to start over 3 times to get finally right. theres easier ways to make it than this video.
