Man, you are totally right. It hurts me to see how people are appreciating trashy songs, with no melody, no meaning, no heart at all. Rock just makes me feel an awesomeness inside that no other music style ever did and will ever do.

Years from now.. I believe the Crowes will be looked back upon as a band that stayed TRUE to American music during a very sad & difficult time for the music industry. They are making some of the best music they've ever done these past few years. Really beautiful, country flavored roots rock. Americana at it's finest! It's hard to find this kind of honesty in music these days. God Bless the Crowes ;)
If you want Marc and Johnny, go put Southern Harmony or Amorica or Snakes or the Band Sessions on yer turntable. For me, Sven and Luther kick so much ass that this incarnation of the Crowes is easily the equal of the Marc/Johnny days. Luther is the shit. He's a cat. He's phat. He's bad.
