I don't trust this as science, the standardization for the methods used just seems unclear and variable.... and being on a strange treadmill with a VR headset simply isn't the same as being lost.

when i took a survival course with the famous Tom Brown, he said that generally people will do a circle in 1 mile if they are walking straight and lost.

Great to see this on youtube finally. People should know, IMO. Because when you get actually lost somewhen, you'll be glad you saw this.
On a slight sidenote: WOHOO for the VR. Can't wait until this gets used more.
