  • lupus non lupum mordet

  • Fucking commy scum. It should be burned at the cross because sharing is evil and so is punkrock and anything Russian. I hate this song >:(

  • @therealLoafers Shut your fucking mouth you scum. You know nothing about Letov and G.O., so stick your speculations in your ass. And what you have against sharing? Pitiful victim of rotten american propaganda...

  • @ratmann87 I'm not sure, did you get the sarcasm?

  • @therealLoafers Sarcasm? Maybe i'm stupid, but completely did not get it. Anyway, i was in bad mood, sorry then...

  • @ratmann87 it's okay I'm kind of slow too

  • this is beautiful even though i dont understand wat they r saying haha

  • @gamecubelover12 LEARN RUSSIAN THEN! LoL

  • @noyuura

  • @noyuura

Ничего страшного... Главное, мирно всё решили, а то не люблю ругаться

  • Grazhdanskaya Oborona forever!! Спасибо что выложили!

  • Очень умный человек.Фото кстати на мой взгляд культовое,явно лучшее чем чегевара в своём берете.

  • I thing the man-to-man-is-a-wolf is more a modern concept, not the one that was in USSR, I was born in 1978 and remember for sure that people were nicer to each other. People would give a lift to each other for free, or you could travel to a different city and find free accomodation, just asking around. It all started rottening with Gorbachev- the fucking agent that destroyed USSR. Maybe that's what he's singing about.

  • @DmitryDaren yeah, that sounds more accurate, and this is how russia is now

  • This song is not about the relationship of people in the USSR. Rather, it is more suitable to describe the modern relationship of man to man in the world. In the USSR, man to man was a friend, comrade and brother. It is now unfortunately ... Homo Homini lupus est ...

  • @AriasVampireRock one year late comment (:

just compare with Laibach "Alle Gegen Alle" it`s ideologicaly the same.

  • sad but true... great song

  • the song says human being is a wolf to human being, shame to be nice. will continue translation later

  • Thanks for response here! Looking forward to it! :)

  • @merit05 Homo homini lupus.

  • This song is about hate, about the relations to a life, to government, human relations in the USSR and modern Russia too((( Sad.....

    Thanks for video...

  • No problem mate!

  • !!! I have a different version of this! Had not heard this before, many thanks!

  • You're welcome mate!

  • Grazhdanskaya Oborona classica

  • Good video, by the way. Thanks for it. The lyrics are a little different in this version than on the original 2xLP (1992), where it goes "Marxism, Leninism" instead of "militarism, terrorism", but anyway...still good. Certainly the most important Siberian punk band ever, and probably over all Russia. RIP Letov.

  • You're welcome! Yeah, I've noticed that the lyrics changed on that part on some on the other releases, among them the Toshnota album which I got myself. Thanks for providing the info on this track. I really appericiate it as I don't know Russian, although I've become pretty damn good at reading Cyrillic since discovering Russian rock. Once again, thanks!

  • I tried to post some lyrics in Russian, but it wouldn't let me.

He is saying "Black 100s (Russian fascist organization), Red fascism, Russian chauvanism, Red facism, totalitarianism, militarism, terrorism, nazism - in short, fascism! Here it is shameful to be good...man is a wolf to man!" This saying "chelovek, cheloveku - volk" is sarcastic usage of the saying about the west during the USSR times, that in the west, capitalism forces men to devour each other. Letov says that about the USSR.

  • so this song is criticizes the soviet union?

  • HOMO HOMINI LUPUS EST (latin) - man to man is a wolf. It is a protest. At 80's it was a protest against communism, at - 90's against capitalism. Letov was an anarchist, national-bolshevik, and at last - REAL PUNK, and REAL MAN!!!

  • Whats the song about?

  • From what I understand the song is about living under the repressive system in the Soviet Union.

  • This is just.. this exceeds all things weird.
