@57Custom406 Thank you--it's comments like yours that makes the capturing, digitizing, editing, enhancing, etc. of those old 8mm home movies all worthwhile. But once again, the real credit goes to those (Mike Taylor in this case) who took the time and effort to preserve those great times on those clunky old 8mm movie camera's.
This is definitely 1965. All of the top fuel dragsters have zoomie headers, which they did not have in 1964. That, along with the fact that there are 1965 model doorslammers in the film would indicate a February, 1965 date.
@IamZardoz The title is 65 Winternationals, but there may be some footage from 64. You can see the black Stone Woods and Cook Willys as well as the blue one. Great film
That is some of the best quality footage I have seen on Youtube...awesome!

My compliments to whoever did the film to video conversion. It looks great, and did a wonderful job preserving this amazing time capsule.
Amazed to see so many famous and historic cars in this.

Excellent!!! The silver dragster with the Halibrand front wheels is Archie Ary's Big Inch from Colton CA

That black Galaxie is a 1965 model so this video was not taken in 1964.

Remember the new model year came out in September, 1964.

And they were better days. I wanted nothing more back then than one of those A/S Galaxies with the hood bulge. SWEET-sounding!
