hmm can I replace the comp1.wav (computers beeping) sound with a full song in 11khz mono wav and have it play in the game so instead of that boring computer blip beep and hard driver hum sound its like the computers are playing mp3s
i tried that last nite but my quake was messed up that dark places quake thing doesnt work for snot but i did get a song to play but when i reinstalled quake b/c i couldnt turn left or right it doesnt work anymore it just pops up an error saying the comp1.wav file isnt looped and wont play it how do you loop sounds so quake can play them in game? BTW if i put in the command "play ambience/comp1.wav" it then works but as you play the song fades b/c its playing from where you stood
where can i find servers where i can play this fantastic game?:) i just live on quakeworld 7years ago.. but now its gone:/

Yes mate. Exactly - but You must to create the loop from this song. I've used cooledit pro to make it.
