It's good, but "even better"? I don't think so. Either Bela Fleck version (Left of Cool or Uncommon Ritual) has the finest musicians in the WORLD on them.

Definitely not better than the Flecktones, that's just crazy talk. I think it took the beautiful feel of the original and turned it into a goofy hoedown with the drum and bass parts. It also left out about 75% of the song. There's only melody and chorus. Check out my small combo arrangement and see what you think.

But even though I feel that I captured the feel of the original really well, I would be the first to say that even my arrangement pales in comparison to Bela and Vic. Those guys have unbelievable musical ability and expression.
