Camera is pretty good! and the best part - audio is IN STEREO! in real stereo not some dual channel effect. What you need is change audio sample rate to higher and audio will be better without noise.

I hear you have the static noise problem.

I've got static noise during my videos...the phone is amazing but this one problem is annoying me. I doubt a software update with resolve the problem as SE said, I think it's more of a hardware issue. Connecting the phone through USB supplying the phone with proper grounding seems to fix the static noise.
