She's encouraging these students to respect and protect themselves. It's a hard thing, for sure, but why does that mean we shouldn't address it? I admire her for presenting the challenge.

Pam Stenzel is not an expert on sex, public health, or the even the bible. The fact is even 88% of True Love Waits signers have premarital sex regardless of their promises not to. So while I agree children should be protected, screeching abstinence and expecting them to be 30 year-old virgins on their honeymoons is a bit ridiculous. Further medically accurate information and options are the best way to prevent the spread of STIs and prevent unplanned pregnancy, not ignorance.

Had sex before marriage, still haven't paid the "price". You would have thought god would have struck me down by now with a lightening bolt for defining my own sexuality and doing what felt right for me. I remember watching this video in 8th grade in a public school. How moronic.

This has no place in public school education. She has no right to speak about her biblical beliefs to my child. How would she feel if a pagan/Hindu/Islamic/Jewish/wha­tever came to her public school to spew THEIR religious beliefs on her children? Unacceptable.

Also pure bullshit, BTW - if sex has a price tag, it's well worth it ;)
