Well the one you used in Zero is the updated version of Tomcat. It's F-14D Super Tomcat which is better than the first one. Because in Zero there are no Tomcats there. There are only Super Tomcats. Strange,isn't it. But good job,man.

BTW. It was replaced by the F/A-18 superhornet because operation and maintenance costs were nuts due to the age of the plane. Otherwise the F/A-18 superhornet was inferior in about everything else. Damn Rumsfield.

At first it was an F-15C, but on the last mission it was the ADFX-02, an advanced model of the Falken, you'll get to fly it eventually, and the best part is that in has a nuclear missile in it's inventory that can fire at both air and ground targets, It also has an ECM and the same laser that the Falken has, I forgot how I unlocked it, sorry.
You unlock it after beating the game in 3 ace modes. the laser is different, and the burst missile (not a nuke) isn't that powerful. otherwise it's a really good plane.
P.S the ADFX-01/02 are prototypes of the FALKEN, hence the X. the FALKEN is ADF-01.

TIP: On mission 16, select the most mobile aircraft in your inventory and the best air to air weapon you have, you'll need them for the fight with Pixy(He has a f$#king laser and Nukes, yes he can fire nukes at you)

A very good job combining the Ace Combat Zero and 5 clips to make this tribute video. This was a fitting tribute to the F-14 Tomcat, which did a superb job filling its air superiority role and providing excellent fleet defense. Which is something quite a few Libyan pilots could attest to. lol
Yeah I know they could. I actualy had the chance to go in the back seat of one at an Airshow. i had just seen the movie Top Gun the day before so to say i was excited is an understatment. Any way i was look at it when the pilot asked if i wanted to jump in the back.
When you get in you appericiate all the stuff the RIOs have to do.

You should have used F-14D from Ace Combat 5...there is a excellent part when you first take off the Kestrel,man...would fit better,but nice video..nevertheless

Ah man - No matter how many times I watch this, it never fails to thrill. In fact, this video is what prompted me to go try the Ace Combat series, and I have not been disappointed.
