can someone plz help me? i have pokemon platinum on my r4 and when i press y i see the cheat menu but when i activate some of the codes they dont fucking work.. but for every other games the codes work so why not for pokemon platinum? plz answer fast

So I put the cheats in my R4 in the systems folder, replace my old one, start up my R4 and the cheats box doesn't pop up. I read that the Game ID has to be correct so i checked it, it was the correct ID and still nothing. Do you know how to help me fix this? It's the US version btw
