  • She is so pretty! And talented!

  • she is soo prettyy. swag yo T has soo much swag.

  • She looks like a mix of African and Korean. HEY! Look what i just did! I just ACCEPTED her for who she is! See how EASY that was?! Now it's your turn!

  • she reminds me of a korean lauryn hill, but tasha has her own thing~<3

  • blackis beautiful baby embrace it..this song was kind of sad

  • i wish my dad told me those things he told tasha ..but they always leave....

  • amen.

  • just stfu & enjoy the music - -

  • Okay, everyone saying she doesn't look Korean, and EVEN she doesn't look black, just stop. Saying she doesn't look black probably hurts her just as much as "she doesn't look Korean". I'm sure she wants all of her accepted, not just one or the other. All that she does and doesn't resemble doesn't matter. She is an African American Korean, accept it. Looks mean nothing. I'm a Lebanese Haitian. I'm not classified white or black, and neither is she. Don't like her? Not a fan? Then leave.

  • it's interesting because in America's society she'd be considered Korean. She doesn't even look like she's mixed except her slightly tanned skin and curly hair. However in Korea's society she's "black" or "dark skinned" when to us she looks like an Asian. SMH it's a shame that we see color rather than a person.

  • She is amazing rapper and all her songs have good meaning. I love Tasha :)

  • lol she doesnt even look half african

  • I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!! I AM HALF BLACK AND HALF KOREAN MY SELF! AND THIS SONG LIKE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY BCAUSE IT SHOWS ME THAT U CAN DO ANYTHING NO MATTER WHAT

  • 0:16" Yo Mom

    She was born gangsta.

  • @lnjeri Hahaha nice comment!

  • @lnjeri lol.. no... they were comparing how she was with a bunch of black African American friends (in which she looked like one) and then it was suppose to surprise us, the audiences, that she can speak Korean by saying "oh ma" which means (mother) in Korean. They wanted us to be shock and see why her life was so hard to be judge as a "black" person and not an individual person who is actually Black African American AND Korean = UNIQUE. She was no gangster.. lol.. nice try.

  • @kagomevangel uh... no... she didnt say "mom" in korean... if that's what they were trying to do, they didnt do it very well because some of the kids looked asian and mom in korean is "uhm-ma" not "oh ma." I think the point was the black and white-ness where you couldnt tell what race they really were...

  • @JWonNie exactly

  • @kagomevangel ... what...? I'm saying you're wrong. lol

  • @JWonNie lol.... but you worded my words exactly well... ain't matter if i was right or wrong. everyones opnion is right lol

  • @kagomevangel oh lol okay haha

  • 음악은 색깔을 몰라

  • You can't even tell she half black.

  • As a minority in a foreign country, this song was very moving and I just wish I had a father who had told me what her father had

  • @medusozoa so what did her dad tell her?

  • @jeffchen My sweet little girl tasha I guess I can give you a little skit on life I guess Talk about the good times and the bad times You gotta be able to Blend both of those in your life you have to know, And you have to believe with all you heart That things will always get better So just keep your head up keep your faith And be strong Never let nobody tell you that you can't do it Because it can be done
  • @TheGoddessAfrodita thank you!

  • @jeffchen You're welcome...

  • she's beautiful

  • Just realized how beautiful she is... she looks the most gorgeous in this video..

  • 4:01 cutest and most beautiful smile that i ever saw <3

  • oh wow, i been tasha and jk's fan for long time but i just found out that tasha is half black. this is dope btw

  • Black and Asian? Wow. SHE IS GOOD!

  • aye T is black and asian she know wat time is it haha

  • Wow, I totally wasn't expecting that. She's good. I want to hear her in English.

  • wow even someone so talented in rap is going through this...

  • Damn so Good

  • In Asia, the percentage of hate crime very small 'cuz not many are different peoples but if it happend it wil not be like killing or lynching others like down south of US. I pray God to give people the light to understand that we are family.

  • @funkeemon umm vicious hate crime like that is VERY uncommon in The South of the US.

You'd have to be from somewhere in the DEEP south, like some unknown city in Alabama or Texas... I'm from South Carolina and if you were to come here with KKK crap it would be like committing suicide cuz you would be asking to get a beat down.. The North did the same activities as the South, it was just more common in the South. Same with Canada(though they hide their history)

  • In Asia, the small percentage of hate crime very small 'cuz not many are different peoples but if it happend it wil not be like killing or lynching others like down south of US.

  • 윤미래가 짱이다 ♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • (cont) One day, I saw my change. I grabbed the mic and jumped on stage and joined music. I turned 19. Now, I had to lie. They asked me to wear white makeup. They said my mom's race was OK, but my dad's was not. Timed stopped for me; it was like I was in prison. I had no one to rely on but myself. Everyday was painful. I tried to ignore their words, I tried to escape. but No, I got caught and prayed every night. But, now I'm free *chorus x2*

    [Dad's narration]

  • (cont) And pour my soul into the music my father has gifted me with, As the volume goes higher, I ride with it far away La Musique, *chorus* When I begin to hate to world, Music has kept me at peace So you gotta be strong, you gotta hold on and love yourself, x2 Time has passed and I am now 13, My skin was brown, but music sees no color. Music gave me light, I surrender to it. Together, we lean on each other and is no longer lonely. Then one day, I found an opportunity.
  • Translations: My skin has always been black People have always pointed at me and my mother My poppy was a black soldier, they should always whisper behind my back, I always had tears in my eyes, I was young, but I could see my mother's sadness I was ashamed, and I felt like I was to blame I scrubbed my face countless times a day, The white soap was melted by my tears, How I secretly hated my dark skin Why O Why does the world judge me? Whenever I start to hate the world, I close my eyes
  • This song always brings tears into my eyes ....... !! :')

  • She has so much freaking talent.

  • @stayOLDSchool yepp she is saying reall DEEP shit... she basically says wut realtimeturbo say, about korean racism and how she got over it and manage to be successful

  • I may not know what shes saying, but i can definently tell shes talking about some deep shit. I wanna learn korean now because of her. Definently an inspiration.

  • This song is so deep. Wow.

  • Wow, she's awesome o_o

  • Is here eng subs for this? I absolutely love her. =] She is definitely talented and she has such a beautiful and sweet character.

  • Tasha is the definition of BEAUTIFUL. <3

  • @eatdapoopoo100 now I wanna be half korean. hahaha!

  • if she was in america, living and singing, she would have been claimed by the black community. Like Kimora and other black/asians have said, if you have any black in you, you will be claimed/embraced by the black community.

  • i love CL but TASHA is the baddest female ! and i love her too <3

  • I really don't think some of you guys get it. The title "Black Happiness" comes from how she's half black and half korean and in the song the's telling the story of how her life was before she became famous. How she was unhappy when she was younger because she was made fun of by the kids i class because she was darker than the rest of her class. But now that she is older she found happiness with herself being black hence the "BLACK HAPPINESS".

  • @ilikecerealalot1234, Thanks for clarifying that. I'm so proud of of her for over coming the difficulties of being half and half and going on to lead a successful life. I hope all those that teased her have learned better.

  • You should have heard some of her shit before she got married and had a kid. Out of this world punchlines. She eats Nicki Minja for breakfast.

  • shes supposed to come out filipino

  • i want a girl like tasha :)

  • shes half black thats why i think shes got the good voice.

  • i dont think shes trying to be racist what i think of this song the reason that its called Black Happiness is because its about her memories... i think memories are black .. i dont know you guys get it??

  • @Cheezmik

You do know shese half black right? her dad was black?????

    READ THE LYRICS!!!!

shese telling the story of her childhood and growing up and becoming famous.

Starts out when she was young and used to scrub her face because her skin was dark.

Then about how they made her wear makeup in live performance with her first group.

Then how they told her to wear a mask. Prettyy fucked up shit.

  • @Antikukafe Nah dude i love this song but i dont understand Korean i was just guessin lol..... i wish i can understand it tho thanks bro!

  • blackorean pride!!!! lol

  • dude...she made it in korea man...thats freak'n awesome....korean people aren't that fond of black people....seriously...i'm not being racist or anything....but dang T is a beast!!!

  • @corcoprhat i disagree..most of korean love music sung by black people..

  • @cutiepot hmmmm....the younger peeps do...but not really the older peeps...some of my korean friends say it too....that their parents aren't too fond of black people...they say i'm too dark and heck! i'm asian too....so...that's what i was gett'n at.

  • @corcoprhat ur absoutely right. no racial or anything but my mom is korean and she used to make me hide from her friends when she saw them at the mall because she was ashamed of me

  • @kiimchy hm...i get u....the korean friends parents aren't that fond of me too...hahahaha...so i'm not porcelain skinned...lOl!!! it's ok tho...it's slowly change'n...

  • @corcoprhat true true but every once in a while i get a dirty look as if to say i should be ashamed of my parents for having me...koreans can be mean lol

  • @kiimchy lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are mean...no doubt about that....lOl!!! but dirty looks are okay....hater's will hate...u just do u....lOl! korean peeps always got to hate tho....no joke. hahah my friends always poke joke at that...."u knoe us koreans, we got to hate" and they for real....lOl!!

  • How could anyone dislike this......She's AMAZING. Beautiful inside-out. Pure talent.

  • black dad + asian mom = filipino

  • @bumsukify I'm black and there is some truth to that just like Any Black + Any Spanish = Dominican. It's far from politically correct but race is a social construct so any method of defining it is correct. LOL Racial Math is useful when trying to put someone in as tiny a box as possible.

  • @CostlyChris LMAO. Dominican is NOT even a race. Dominican is just a nationality. Thta is like saying Black + Any English= American??????

Also keep in mind that many Dominicans are black, a whole bunch of them lmao

  • @chsn09 Well if you really want to get technical, Hispanic isn't a race it's culture and beside what if it's a British Black?

  • @CostlyChris LOL. Dominican is NOT a race. Hispanic and Latino is NOT a race either.

My point about the British and Black is to show how silly your analysis is with black and Spanish as if the two are mutually exclusive and the erroneous error of calling all people that speak Spanish as "Spanish" when many are NOT even from Spain lol

  • shes very pretty...theres a kinda miraculous asian but then not asian feeling about her...

    nice ^^

  • 그냥 쌰랍하고 음악감상 ㄱㄱ

  • the best female rapper the rap industry's got to offer.

  • im new to tasha, and from the comments she seems to be half black?

well, her name seems black, her hair looks black , and her voice sounds black (NOT TO BE RACIST)

i was just confused if she was asian or something

    shes an amazing rapper !

  • @ImmortalWeakness she is half black/half korean. Black father and korean mother, i believe her father was stationed in korea, and she was the result of it. =D

  • I think she is one of the best rappers in Korea..i love 2ne1 and CL is claimed to be one of the best rappers..idk

  • @lovelySCgrl88 sorry but CL not even close, when CL starts making her own stuff maybe ill acknowledge her as a rapper. for now CL is just a lyric spitter. a good one i will admit.

  • @sososorri i totally agree with you.

  • I do know as i'm korean, but to be a half blood in Korea, esp. the half-black cannot deserve enough right at that era. Of course nowadays still people with coloured glasses still exist

  • SHE IS "THE'" BEST SINGER EVER IN KOREAN POP MUSIC HISTORY ALSO IN WORLD HISTORY. FLY TASHA FLY!!! WE WILL LOVE YOU AND REMEMBER YOU FOREVER AND EVER.
