I've looked through most his works (as you can see I've been subscribing to him as well). He is amazingly skilled, and I think his fantasywork is brilliant. But I think digital photorealism is highly overrated, and should be considered no more than practice. Real life photorealism (such as when using only pencil) is more interesting, but still: Interpretations of real life are more interesting than imitations.
