@CARELESSxOGRE Yeah I agree with you there. but if you buy For we are many, I don't know you have or not, Its still a metal album. Overcome was a metal album. I like the fact that they have songs like "two weeks" and "the last time" cause then they get the audience they deserve, they get noticed. so the world can see talented they are. The fall of ideals was an amazing album, but if you look closely, you'll see that they haven't srayed that far from that essence.

I think phil over uses cleans and raspy now, back in this darkened heart and fall of ideals it was really sick and they had this awesome sound going where his cleans actually meant something and were magical because they weren't overused. It's like getting chocolate or having sex but then overusing it so it's not that great anymore. In the end I prefer the band screaming and not so much cleans(not raspy either).

The problem with doing songs like this and 'Hold on' is that on the recordings, there are layers of vocals and some effects. Therefore it doesn't sound as strong live. Maybe they should have someone do backups. I know Jeane does backup screams, but I think they need backing clean vocals as well. Especially on songs like this.

it's pretty sad how bad their guitarists are at timing...they wrote the songs and make money off playing it live so the least they could do is play it well...I played this song better with my friend when I had only played guitar for only 3 years...bands like this don't really deserve the money they make when they can't perform their own music to the standards that they set themselves in studio...where these songs are actually good but theres no talent involved in turning knobs as much as they do

if you want to hear the "album version" watch another video, this track is fast, real fast, try to sing by yourself, you wont make it, you need a lung like a fuckin hot-air balloon to do that, its not posible. he did a good job. @dezad187 YES!!! FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT! And honestly, Phil still does do REALLY good here. He's gotten in a ton of singing lessons during the Fall of Ideals era and his improvement really shows :) I love Phil, as a vocalist, he is a MAJOR inspiration and influence.
