  • If you are using one EDF then that must be a huge ducted fan.

  • @omega3677 Yup 7"

  • How many EDF`s do you use? Great work!

  • Sweet

  • @300ZXrider1 Just one, you have to keep this simple

  • @300ZXrider1 Thanks, still trying to figure out how to post on here LOL

  • Excellent!!!!

  • im keenly following this project..... excellent and impressive work so far i must say. soon id like to get into scratch building SCALED rc aircraft & turbines (especially turbofans :D) and this provides much inspiration and motivation for me. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • @antosdesantos Thank you, will do

  • Amazing project, and phenomenal dedication. I'm keen to find out much more about this, do you have any threads on RCGroups or RCUniverse? Is that a commercial moulded airframe or all your own work too - looks superb.

  • @pilotrcuk

Everything is scratch built, there is a thread on RCU

under jets called Harrier flight tests begin, for some reason I cannot post the link here.

  • What about controlling the puffer jets with gyros possibly together with an Ardupilot or similar? As the jet slows below stall the Ardu could take over stability tasks.

  • @erkq We have developed our own stabilization computer, I don't know if the other auto pilots would work with this or not

  • @killerbee2T Very cool! At least you're not trying to hand-fly it! Best of luck. What an incredible project.

  • @erkq Thank you, Yeah, it's impossible to fly it without the computer
