These will out crawl pretty much anything out there. Main problem is there is no engine braking or drag brake so they run away down steep slopes which is a shame because they are great everywhere else. The lower control arms look like an after thought and move side to side hitting the motors. They could of fitted a body that actually fits the wheelbase but all in all, these will out climb all the pro builds out there. Shame the LHS dont feel the need to stock parts for them :(
g'day mate. love your video. 3 days ago i bought a venom basalisk(outlaw/HBX) crawler from antonio (radman) at Radical Hobies chullora. i thought as a cheaper unit it would struggle to do what you're doing in your video without a heap of upgrades... holy moly was i wrong i'm now climbing everything even the dog!!!!! unbelievable fun. highly recomended as a first unit for those entering the sport!!!!!
