@brennan93 In the beginning of the video you can see the name of both songs (Lover & Leave us leap). I can presume that the images are from 1946/8 because the alto soloist in "Lover" is (without doubt ) Charlie Kennedy, and he was playing alto sax in the Gene Krupa band between these years. Both songs were originally recorded in 1945; George "The Fox" Wiilliams arranged "Lover" and Ed Finckel arranged (and composed) "Leave us leap". Regards.
Amazing, Urbie Green, Frank Rosolino, and Frank Rehak, were all on this band and there are absoltley no videos of them. I find it a bit ridicolous that they have pages and pages of videos of Gene Krupa, but no Urbie Green, Frank Rosolino, or Frank Rehak.
This is why I believe about Mr. Gene is my favorite drummer of all times.
