  • Just caught up with this one. What a great topical protest song. And it's a great honour to be in Stewball's list with you!

  • That truely is a sad state of affairs !

    Great song !

  • Maddening destruction, wonderfully creative reaction. I hope writing & singing this helped--as the Meister says, UKE THE BASTARDS !!!!

    U-K-T

  • Right on Lew!!!

    WT & Maxine

  • Hey Lew. Thanks for that!

It's sad that we typically never hear what, if any, action was taken by the 'powers that be' to prevent this sort of thing from happening and what subsequent action is demanded to repair the damage to the environment and the Community.

We all know, perception is everything so if no actionis apparent, it sends a clear message to others that it is 'okay' to do the same ...or worse.

I hope you're able to write a sequel, Lew, telling us there was happy ending.

  • Great Woody Sounding Protest SOng!!!!

  • A message for our times expressed in a simple and direct song...the POWER of the folk tradition. I can now place you among the much-esteemed singers & songwirters who have tackled very important issues of social and environmental concerns through song: Pete Seeger Woody Guthrie Peter Paul and Mary Malivna Reynolds John Denver 'Utah' Phillips Raymond Crooke LEWDITE Many thanks for sharing this INSPIRED composition with us. Peace, Stewball
  • Well, I thank you... that's a bit of a stretch, but I am sure pleased to be in the same list as Raymond.

  • ex-neighbor of ours kept 20 + hunting dogs in a kennel about the size of your bathroom. sometimes he didn't feed them and naturally, under the circumstances, the dogs would turn on the weakest of the pack and devour it. welcome to tuscany. to say we were stressed-out by the pool is putting it mild. the man died and as one who believes in reincarnation, i hope he comes back as a dog - or better yet, a cat.

take photos and wait - life is long.

    solidarity - bill

  • I would hope he'd come back as a tree, but I know he will most likely come back as artificial turf.

  • Great message!

  • Great message .5***** G.G.

  • Great song! Honesty abounds and if you can think of a way to "get even" (legally, of course), I am at your service. 5 stars for your outrage, Lew!

    Bill

  • probably the same guy who killed all the frogs.

  • NO DOUBT!

  • Rock on lewdite. I heard a story about how man will take from the Earth untill thiers nothing more it can give. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
