does the mind ultimately have anything to do with the size of the brain? Think of it like this..if the brain is only a transmitter/receiver OF the mind, then, does size matter? Computers in the 50's were the sizes of houses, but were still not more effective then a microchip today doing the job of maybe a thousand computers combined from the 50's. Therefore, maybe the size of a parrots brain does not imply that it's mind is more limited then a human beings for example, the parrot simply -cont;-

I don't think the tests that people do address the fact that people in their modern conditioned state have senses that are extremely dulled down-& whose biological daily physical routines are deeply entrenched making it hard to break out of the state of mind that is induced by repetitive,unhealthy, conventional, daily mind & sense dulling activities--

I have telepathic experiences with strangers often--I do not have telepathic experiences with most family members-but I have a couple of times (though I don't think they would admit it) I think it has something to do with the endocrine system. emotional state, and the frequency of ones bio rhythms-the physical conditions have to be right for transmission to get through--I also believe that marijuana enhances telepathic receptivity-as well as exercise,meditation,music practice, & emotional state

Ruppert makes perfectly good sense. I've often wondered about those invemtors who developed ideas that "coincidently" were being developed by others somewhere across the planet or ancient civilizations that created pyramids and such, having no contact with the rest of the planet but similar ideas. Voila!

I'm glad scientists like Sheldrake are around to question the scientific establishment and pursue their own theories even without common acceptance.

Rupert's a brave man. The world is a much better place with him in it.

If his work is in scientific journals it has been peer reviewed and accepted.

The only difference I can see in him as opposed to most scientists is that he has no explanation for the effects he studies.

He does suggest that quantum physics might have something to do with this. Have you heard about the Penrose-Hameroff Hypothesis on Quantum Consciousness? It is called Orchestrated Objective Reduction.

First of all, thanks for mentioning this ... this is really interesting. I had no Idea Roger Penrose was working on stuff like that .

However, I don't think there is any relation between their work and that presented in this video. Conciousness beeing dependant on quantum effects (as to some extent everything is) does not imply that it has long range effects.

Regardless, testing the contractions of the nipples of lactating women for twelve months seems like an absurd study to conduct.

It does not imply that it has, but it does makes it (telepathy) much less unlikely.

@Taors spot on! the -common- scientific community has just made another "established religion" of itself and are basically just a bunch of closed minded dinosaurs these days..so boring to listen to their -ESTABLISHED theories- like the Big Bang, that is taught basically at every single University as being the ultimate truth..yet, still to this day called - THEORY...people forget the meaning of that word a LOT.. Scientists like Sheldrake are needed in order for any forward thinking to happen.
