I'm most likely older then most of these people and I was born in Oakland and raised in Alameda (The Victorian island of the west coast) and I have never learned to dance like this. Is there a secret club? I've always considered myself a Bohemian of the bay.

This reminds me of the polkas my father danced in Mexico... of course, instead of brass instruments they used accordions and Bajo Sextos.

on Grand Ae. by the Lake Merritt, they have all kinds of lessons there.

It's a choreographed polka with specific steps, so everyone does the same thing at the same time. It looks very pretty when viewed from above

October,December, February are crowded, April, June,August are not so crowded, and not everyone knows the Bohemian Natl Polka
