It's the SEED ammo. The strangest thing is, the ammo for it is unlimited. So all it has to do is charge up and you can stay in SEED mode forever (or until you die).

It's a cheat that allows you to use the Boss form of SF. The cheat used isn't native to the game; CFW and a cheating engine like CWCheat is required.

Sadly, no. The PSPs won't sync properly when CWCheat is active, and the non-cheating PSPs will crash.

You need CFW, that's all.

If you bought your copy, as long as you can make it work on your CFW PSP (5.50 GEN-D3 allows you to do this), you can use CWCheat with your UMD.

Well, the Omnislash combo is restricted to this special Strike Freedom only. The command for it is simply 2b (down + melee).

As for other SF combos, it's always about using ND at the right moment. You don't need so many buttons.

Like, say, nbb>bc>a. That's neutral melee twice, special melee (the spinning flyby), then Beam Rifle. It's easier than it sounds and it produces good damage.

Depends. If you already have a PSP-3000 and your system version is 5.03 or lower, you can enjoy 95% of what CFW can offer.

However, if you're above 5.03, you're pretty much screwed.

Not permanent CFW. You can only put HEN in PSP-3000s.

umm is SF able to change and have meteor unit while playing, like when you fight the strike freedom boss. when its life reduces to almost like 1/4 of it, there is a scene that it changes meteor then returns into the battlefield.

It's an NPC-scripted event; it only happens during real boss SF battles.

@juddtumbaga1 It's a plugin for CFW that allows you to change certain things in the game memory (like what unit is currently selected). You'll need Custom Firmware (CFW) to use it.

And no, CWCheat doesn't need to be used with the UMD. It can be used both for the Memory Stick version or UMD version.

Hey are there any cheats that make it possible to bring the size of the beams back to the arcade version like Strike Freedom's CSa, Destiny's CSa, Freedom's Baleena cannons, and Akatsuki's CS it's not satisfying to see those little pea balsts as opposed to the way they looked in the arcade version and if there are soem cheats that can change that I'll be more than happy.

Nope. More like they were acknowledging SF's hax in Destiny.

You should watch normal SF's ending movie...it has the SF basically 'owning' everyone.

After all, if the used the EX SF in an abusive way, nobody would be able to touch it...trust me on that one.

The EX SF unit itself already has the unlimited SEED ammo, but it is not used by the AI until it comes out of METEOR.

Since this EX SF can't turn METEOR, you just have to wait until the ammo fills to max.

If you're talking about the Multi-Lock Charge Shot (MCS), then the currently playable Strike Freedom has a balanced version of it.

And although the EX SF's version of the same attack is much more 'useful', it is 'useful' because it's broken and only meant to be used by the AI (who knows not to abuse it).

Heck, this demonstration shows that it can dominate two opponents with ease...not exactly good for PVP.

Although I would like the DRAGOON melee to be at least usable in SEED mode.

That's the point.

Because if you could repeat that attack over and over easily, SF would be able to deal so much damage with very little chance of being cut (i.e. interrupted). Much power without a balancing factor.

Most other attacks that can deal 250+ damage can easily be cut or has a big requirement (like 00's Raiser Sword being slightly slow, and requiring TRANS-AM).

Oh, and it might be going down too fast for you because you keep NDing. ND drains SEED gauge.

Watch the normal SF version of this vid. See how a well-timed SEED can turn the tide.

It lasts approximately 6 seconds, give or take. That doesn't take into account ND deductions.

But what it does do is recover your boost in mid-air, doubles your boost gauge, greatly increase your ND and falling speed (for natural evasion without using ND too much), and enables the use of a 230+ Multi-Lock attack.

However, successfully executing the CS/MCSa (all the way) will cancel SEED mode.

Pretty fair, IMO.

Oh, and a skilled player can drain 00's TRANS-AM by aiming properly and forcing 00 to Quantumize repeatedly. Every Quant removes ~30 TRANS-AM points.

And TRANS-AM doesn't recover your boost in mid-air...

It's great fun; you should try to at least run through it once.

Some of the missions are either really amusing or really irritating...like a mission where you'd have to guard Zaku-Tanks from incoming Victories or the ones where you have just 1 HP against a bunch of people.

You get it by playing through NEXT PLUS Mode. They appear as 'Original', and there are 9 of them.

You have to use a cheat engine like CWCheat to do it. Even then, they (all the hacked units) are only playable in Free Battle modes...can't be brought to Arcade mode.
