They where not fine. This is a Dutch driver, Peter Bijvelds. His dad was the co-driver, he sadly died in this accident. Peter hasn't driven a rallycar since.
nobody died on this crash indeed. Peter has driven other rallies, but did not compete in the dutch championship anymore. However, he is still driving now and then some rallies!
I actually got to see this live. The palm tree got more hurt than the driver. He just got pissed, couple of scratches and bruises. He messed up cause of the rotary. The small hatchbacks did it easily. Tough curves in Madeira are awful to drive in.
guys... yeh its cool to watch it specially if no1 gets hurt..but.. did u see the car crash speed was reduced thanks to the palm tree ? if that palm tree wasnt there certainly it would be traggic indeed! thank god for the trees lol

You mean an other crash.
In this one, his dad was still alive.
He died in another crash later.
And I think Peter drove again since that actually...
Not in the championship though.
