All you really need is the multibounce badge and the ultra shoes. gets rid of those fcking clouds. Bow is the best partner for this, she can make u invincible for the lighting attack and if you have her fan smack it can do 10 damage ( which is a s**tload of damage in the origional paper mario

This guy is really easy just use my level up straegy, but you'd have to use it from the very beginning: first level up health then the next two levels is FP and the next two is BP and repeat. By the time you get to him he should be easy.

@4876531 Nope. I had trouble with him before, but I ended up turning his entire battle into a routine. As I recall, the most important thing was to kill the Tuff Puffs before he absorbed them and regained HP. Blocking their attack was easy. The only variable that gave me trouble was when he used lightning.

@kitteh222 Just use Lakilester's ability (4 FP) to get rid of them (all but two). Another tip: have a repel gel, use it when he charges. He becomes so easy with experience.

LOL. but when i beat the game once..years later i tried again and it took me only two tries now. i fought him with Lady Bow...just make sure he doesn't heal. take out the little guys first(shitheads) lol..and block his power attacks by covering Mario up. With Lady bows hiding move. then u can smack the shit outta him. LOL

If you use the super charge jump badge before the fight, with Bow was a partner, with a reasonable amount of FP, its easy.

All you have to do is Super Charge, Outta Sight, and repeat a lot. Then do powerbounce.

paper mario the thousand year door had cooler features and more things to do. but paper mario the original had way better music, this theme is one of the best in the game to me. also the bosses in the original were cooler and more like mario bosses. also the places in the original were funner and cooler looking and more lively than the places in the thousand year door. BUT the original paper mario gets super boring once u beat the whole game also its boring once u have all the starpoints u can.

@hesitate71 Hey man you'll win do doubt with my strategy! Use Watt, because she can attack Huff N' Puff even when he charges up the lightning. Then use powerbounce if your good at pressing A at a rhythm. Buy alot of stone caps so you can avoid damage while Watt fires away at the boss. Get some Whacka's Bumps from Mt. Rugged and that'll help too.

Huff n' Puff was, in my opinion, the hardest boss out of all three Paper Mario games yet. His high attack power, ability to heal some HP every other turn, and his "Ace in the Hole" attack doing 14 was a ton at the level you fought him. No boss before or after all the way to Dimentio was as hard as this guy.

2nd,3rd,and 4th playthrough: Repeatedly kept getting killed by this guy, level grinded like crazy and needed one Life Shroom to beat.

5th playthrough: Beat in one try again, with about 2 HP left and no Life Shrooms.

Huff N. Puff was MUCH harder than Bowser. what's ironic is that Huff N. Puff has more HP than Bowser. Crystal King and Bowser's got nothing on Huff N. Puff when it comes to difficulty.

@theluigifan1 thats his downfall, he can only heal with the tuff puffs around. If you hit him first, then spiny surge him, its easy, as he cant heal. its sort of like stopping the koopa bros from stacking up. Huff'n'puff only has tough attacks when hes got about 10 hp left
