The thing is he gets most of his money from capital gains which is investments of money which was already taxed as income before. Furthermore this rate is only lower on long-term capital gains. although these rates may seem like something only rich people would benefit from people with 401ks also benefit from it. Tax hikes hurrah!! I don't recall saying that. If they current tax law expires it means a 5.8% increase for families making 50k and a 2.1% increase for families making 500k (see AP Ohlemacher). I'm concerned about the middle class.

This funny even though Obama and democrats technically do not tax any more than Bush did or republicans do. And I also find it interesting that this video has sparked a debate of sorts on the nature of taxes in general.
FYI to the people below who talk about the reason things cost so much is because of high taxes... actually the people most hit by taxes are individuals not companies or corporations who have more than enough loop holes in the laws to protect them. Taxes are just an excuse.
