@MOGHULMAN Also if you read Alex Haleys book it states that Sammy said to Archie after this scene that he believed Red, however, in real life it was not the world changing scene this shows. Archie was not the Godfather he appears to be. Just another hustler. Red/Minister Malcolm did seek him out and try to help him in later years. The same with Laura and Shorty.

I love Malcolm X and believe that he was a great leader, and I don't care how many bad replies I get, but I really think that the first half of the movie could've made a really good gangster flick....spike lee's direction and denzel's acting was that epic.
