Lava, the bane of all unwary Minecrafters.....and more than the source of a few laughs too. Probably the best case was potentially horrible....like punching a flashing creeper backwards towards some other mobs and exploding. Little damage to me, but the other mobs weren't so lucky when the blast breached a laval lake that was above us. Thankfully I had the high ground.
