Wow. "Burlesque" was Christina Aguilera's first movie, ever? I'm a bit surprised... She was born for the protagonist role of Ali: her cuteness, sex appeal, intoxicating dance moves & gorgeous vocal range were UNFORGETTABLE. It was the BEST MOVIE in 2010!! Just saw it at my brother's b-day party last night!! Aguilera 4-ever!! d:o)

I agree whiole-heartledly. Whether Ally is the most likeable character all the time (and I would rather a protagonist with a personality I didn't like then one with no personality at all), Christina had a puckish, mischievous charm and did convince me at least in the role (whether she convinced anyone else; well I don't know people's opinions outside you and me, but that's fine with me).
