  • I have this Amp and it does not put out that amount of gain on it's own. He must have a pedal hooked in

  • Great demo

    - and you are a fantastic player!

  • does this ampli really hav tht much gain or he is using a tube screamer or something to get this sound?

  • @Rock4Ever80s totally dude...i have this amp, and it does NOT pump out that much gain...there definitely has to a pedal in front of it

  • Thai language !!!!!

  • What the hell is he saying?!?!

  • This amp is great for a classic thrash scoop sound, and despite it being a valve amp you dont need to crank it up too far to get a great overdrive sound, although i would recommend a distortion pedal.

  • I have the head verson and it works great with my epi sg for acdc sound. I have 57s in but I'm changing the bridge out For angus young sig pup when I get the cash.

  • He may not speak english but he can play :)

  • English! English! ...please...

  • how does this amp sound if you put some pedals in front of it like a rat or a boss dsitortion?

  • does it have tubes?

  • @PureDevilAllenAngel Yes, One AX7 preamp tube I think, and a solid state power section. Sounds really good!

  • I have a Epiphone Les Paul,

    I wondered if I buy the AVT50,

It will match the songs of Guns N 'Roses?

Because I played the majority of the Slash tone.

Thanks to helpers, very important to me

  • @IsraeliMusicChannel it delivers a variety of sounds! i like my avt. but you got to work out some settings to get the tone you want!

  • @IsraeliMusicChannel

Got this amp in the past...the tone is good but the gain is not so much.

To get nice Slash Tones you would need a good Overdrive stompbox added to Drive Channel.

  • had this amp

    kicked ass

  • @rog5272

    umm

im goint to buy it soon

did u think its good amp? i have epiphone les paul.... and i'm musty play Guns n roses songs....

  • @IsraeliMusicChannel

    for a 50 watt amp

crank the bass and the crunch and percussion will sound soo full!!!

  • OH BOB SAGET!

  • this amp is pretty sweet sounding!

  • This guy must be some kind of opium king pin Where the hell does he get all the money to buy all of those amps and guitars Hes funny as hell to watch and listen to demonstrate all of these amps He does some pretty thorough demos though as far as changing settings on the amps and all Just drives me crazy not being able to understand a fucking word that he saying though

  • y the fuck r u people being so freaking racist? he's thai. so wat? if you can't speak thai then stfu. tqvm.

  • Me RUV U RONG TIME...

  • @chatreeo what pedal are you using? thanks :)

  • Shitty Wok Take Yor Orda Preaaaze. i didnt know mr.chang could do that????!!

  • 我现在一点开这个大哥的视频 就赶快转台 呵呵

  • SPEAK ENGLISH OR DIE!!!!!!

  • i search up with this amp because of KOBIBA check him out

  • I Have the head (AVT50H) and I used to gig with it. These amps are deceptively LOUD!! I am amazed at the volume I was able to get out of it for only 50 watts.

  • thats the head were looking at right? theres cabinets????? no way thats a combo

  • @insaneclown33 It's a Combo.

  • I can wholely recommend this amp, it's great and LOUD.

    *Check my demo.

  • i have this bby.. really is a 50w but the tone kick ass to some line 6, peavey and crate stacks of 120w ... this amp fuckinggg rocksss

  • Jeden kręci gałą..drugi gra? :P Fajne brzmienie ! COOL!:) Marshall AVT Rulz!

  • Did someone say Line6 Spider??? LOL!! those crappy amps! Line6 sucks

  • is the guitar plugged to the amp with no any pdeals ?

  • ohh fuck not this guy again...........

  • @AustinSk84life95 why not? he makes (finaly) miced reviews... most ppl record the amp with the camera so the sound is fuck, this guy iz good:P

  • @AustinSk84life95 who is? he work in music shop?

  • @AustinSk84life95

What the fuck is wrong with "this guy"? Amps don't speak English, and he doesn't have to either. The purpose of demos is to show off the range of sounds gear can provide, and he does just that, you simple-minded bastard.

  • @AustinSk84life95 this guy plays everytime the same fucking solos and chords with hes borring style of playing...he is the most boring guy on youtube and annoying.!!

  • @sasemirevski simple solution...next time you see his screen name, just don't click on it!

  • @AustinSk84life95 baahhhhahaha

  • i get this sorta tone all the time tbh this is my main amp but i use a PRS SE Tremonti with an invader in the bridge which might explain alot

  • wassup, im looking to buy a half stack and i play hardcore punk, would this be good?

  • Chat can make ANY amp sound good.

  • sometimes i wish i still had my AVT150H, it sounded pretty nice, and was lighter than my current tube amp. great amp, very practical.

  • love the tone

  • I have the avt 275

is a good amp, tought the overdrive channel isnt good for playing metal, so I am using an external preamp

  • Are you running any booster pedals or anything? Because I have this amp and it isn't this heavy with everything at noon. Hmmm.

  • Its good w/ a digitech metalmaster in front of the clean side...check out my vid!!!!

  • is it good for worship?:D

  • for rock n roll it is ok

    not for metal

  • I HAD one of these amps, and I kick myself nearly every day for selling it.

  • is this amp footswitchable

  • yes

  • I've got one of these amps. It's all that and a bag of chips with tube and speaker upgrade.

  • could i play malmsteen with this amp?

  • what guitar you use?

  • Do you think that i could play metallica with this amp?

  • simply, yes

  • @Symeon94 yes

  • @Symeon94 Yes

  • @Symeon94 man u can get sweet pedals that make it better sound for like metallica, aveng sevenfold, like hes not using just the amp itself

  • @Symeon94 for sure sound will be like kill em all but u gotta crank basss treble and kill mids

  • @Symeon94 if u wanna play metallica, best looking at a pedal or somethin less expensive, a BOSS MT-2 creates a nice metallica tone, ive got one, and apparently Kirk Hammett does to, dunno if its true though....

  • @Symeon94 sure, it's almost with the ride the lightning tone he is playing :P

  • @valdakus i see that a lot of people are agree with this idee

  • @Symeon94 No, more of a rock amp. This is meant to emulate a JCM 800 more than anything. You could boost it. At that point, you could probably do EARLY Metallica.

  • @Symeon94 what a stupid question...afcourse u can.!

  • @Symeon94 You can play anything with this amp!!

  • i have a question, a stupid one i guess..

can you connect a tonelab ,let's say boss or vox ,on this amp? or does the tonelab (or other effects) need to be marshall?

  • no, you can connect most if not all effects to any amps, and if you can't, you can by getting some cables that fit each side.

  • I want this amp so bad...

I'm running through a Marshall VS102 combo right now and I wanna stick with hybrid amps.

  • Play sweet child o mine kobiba use this amp..!!!

  • really? are you sure? kobiba sounds so great! How do you know this?

  • yea man kobbiba use it,you can see it in description for his gothfather theme

  • This is what a demo should be like, NOT some idiot wanking. Excellent and informative. Thanks. I prefer all tube tho, this is too tight and dry, great for shredding in the bedroom but not too good live!

  • Is this directly into the amp or through an chain of FX pedals?

Would you say this is similar is tone to a JCM 800? Laney GH50L/GH100L?

What guitar was used? What are the specs?

    Sorry for so many questions.

  • @666lucky13 this is just the amp no fx and completely different from the Laney GH which has a much more full and warm sound, the GH50L would wipe the floor with this! But the Laney would cost 3 times as much so as an amp to start out on great.

  • hey guys wow this amp sound pretty good, i just got 2 questions, and sorry if they are stupid, i dont know alot about amps yet.

1 is there a difference between marshall avt50 and marshall avt50x or is it the same amp?

2 i noticed that on the amp there is written "pre amp" isnt a pre amp like a top on a cabinet? because i know theres also a top called marshall avt50, or is a pre amp something without tubes or what?

    ty for answers.

  • avt50 and avt50x is the same

  • would anyone recommend this for a vintage slash sound? or are there other amps that are better?

  • This is a very nice, look at KOBIBA's slash videos; he uses that amp.

  • yeah I had one of these my second year playing guitar, this thig was badass at home until I took it to my first band practice and after having the volume at 7 for an hour THE TUBE EXPLODED!!!!! yup thats right, friggin thing blew up into pieces. took it to a marshall repair shop had it back in 4 weeks cause Korg was a pain in the ass about getting parts (voltage plate) took it back to practice and the same thing happened again!!!!! 3 more weeks in the shop. took it home then the gain went out.

  • does avt50 has tube ??

  • Yeah i played for a year.

But i have one question to you.

My squire will sound a lot better if i change the pickups, will it?

  • Yes and no. It depends on what pickups toy put in. If you change them out for 10$ cheapies then it will probably get worse. It also depends on what sound you like. I say stick with the guitar and pickups you have until you are better. I played for my first two years on a guitar that I bought of a bum for 80 bucks.

  • Ok but i want my guitar to sound like kirk hammet, umm i know he uses very expensive but you got any tips?

  • I say you go to your local guitar shop and get to try out different overdrive and distortion pedals and see what you like. I recommend bringing your guitar and using an amplifier like yours ( or the closest thing to it). Because it will probably sound awesome on a 2000$ mesa and a Gibson LP but when you bring it home it doesn't sound like in the store. Anyways good luck in search of that sound, hit me up if you have more questions ;)

  • I have a question, it would mean a lot of you answered, replied would be better. I am looking for an amp, preferably marshall with a very aggressive, distorted sound (doesn't matter if i need to use a pedal or other gear). I am searching for one that has a very close guns n roses/led zeppelin/ acdc sound. Any Suggestions? and one more, is the amp chatreeo is showing atm a tube amp Head?

  • If you want to sound like Kirk Hammett then I recommend EMG Pickups. But he also uses a great amount of gain and a very chunky sound. Or you could save and buy an LTD Kh202 or 602. The 202 has a floatin tremolo and esp pickups. It sounds really good. Check my videos for reference.

  • You need a mesa my friend

  • Um i just bought a marshall valstate 100W.

Squire is my first guitar so cut me some slack man.

    Oh and it sounds awesome

  • Hi, nice playing.

What do you use for guitar and are you using any special pickups or pedals or something.

    Plz tell.

P.S. Do you think its gonna be a good sound with a squire?

  • 7:34 was fuckin crazy

  • Hi,

Fantastic demo!!! Are you using any pedals with this amp?

    Cheers......

  • he using only AMP

  • Hes got to be runnin a tube driver or something, cause I own this amp and the dirty is gritier than that.

  • I have an AVT 275

    sounds exactly like mine

  • Hi guy! After all, You play amazing!

I have one AVT-50 too. I don´t change for nothing because it have a modern soud like JCMs, more gain then the ValvestateI and II and the back panel is completally covered to obatain more bass. It is better than AVT-100, 150 and 275 because doesn´t have much FX circuits. I heard, compared and culd not belived, but is it true. Amazing amp!

  • i thnk i prefer the Valvestate MKII. it has a more tube sound and more rock. i this video i think that this amp haev a more solid state amp sound ... i don't like it very much.

to see what i mean look at my videos, i play with a Marshall Valvestate MKII

  • I want to get a good marshall amp x3 any recomends? i am in U.S. now and go to guitar center alot x3 I am return to japan in 3 months.

  • How much are you willing to spend?

  • ummm under 200 US for now x3

  • By your favs, i see that you like that neoclassical and shred metal, try this 3 amps. Vintage Modern; JCM800; Randy Rhodes Signature ... all from marshall, all perfect for your style
