I'm glad they fixed that, but there's one problem with 2009. Some really great players like for example David Villa are literally useless!!! He is just too slow and it's very difficult to score with him...

Why the soccer game wars? Fifa and PES are both very good in their own ways. Now if I HAD to pick, between these 2, I'd say Fifa. But PES is still excellent and I play it a lot as well. PES has things that Fifa doesn't, and vice versa.

the ps2 versions of PES ( 08, 09 ) are better then the Xbox and PS3's version, it plays more fluid, PES was made to be on PS2

i am a pro evo fan and i must admit that the 2009 version is awful. The reaction of the players is too slow. You don't even have full control of the game! Sometime when pressing x in your own box to put pressure on the openent you will find that your player has slid and you have given a penalty away. If you are pressured in your own box it somtimes blasts the ball out with out you commanding it. Online is the worst, occasionally you will find that you have teleported to the other half of the pit

Ive been playing fifa for YEARSS since PS1, not going to lie fifa 2006/2007 was a failure but fifa 08 boosted fifa ratings and fifa 09 just dominated in gameplay. So this year fifa 09 wins.

Pro evo is as dated as sensi soccer and only the most delusional moron will opt 4 it over the true footy sim FIFA. Who cares what was best 10 yrs ago lets all get with the times and judge in the now. The way you can battle and obtain position 4 headers in FIFA shows once again EA has done for football what it did for boxing with fight night making it as true 2 life as it can. I've played both Fifa 09 and Pes 09 on pc and for that platform,Pes 2009 is definately the better play.

Maybe for next gen consoles the story is different,but for pc PES 2009 is king.

Better visuals and less latency between controller and footballers movements.

I actually prefer the "be a legend" mode.

Fifa 09 on pc looks like a hires version of the ps2 version.

My humble opinion because I was all ready to get fifa 09 but after playing both on Pc,I'm now going to buy pes 2009.
