Anyone believing those videos and that it works is not too smart about how cell phones work.

CDMA is Verizon and GSM is AT&T they are totally incompatible signals. This will never work due to the fact that iPhone does not have a receiver capable of getting the Verizon signal. Further more Apple choose AT&T and more importantly the GSM signal because the rest of the World is using the GSM type of signal, hence Apple would sell more phones that way.

I was with Verizon and I called and asked about the Iphone, They said it wouldnt ever happen so I switched to AT&T and got the iphone. Its cheaper and great service. Its about time someone spoke up about this situation. Thanks.

U guys are all Idiots, U don't know the first thing about how the cell phone networks work, 3g and 4g dont mean shit, its the type of network they run on, cdma, or gsm. verizon isnt going to be gsm, so no current iphone will work on it, and according to verizon reps they will be changing to LTE in 2014 which is backwards compatible with both types of networks, very few countries use the type of network the verizon runs on, so dont hope for an iphone anytime soon on verizon.

my guess is that apple won't arrange a deal with verizon until this happens if they ever do arrange one.

I did it in fact but you need a rimh sim card that works with CDMA networks. You can buy it in china and you'll only have to configure it with the configurations that is on Verizon phone. You also have to use an Un-Sim locker to be able to use this sim card and last but not least, you need a jailbroken iphone because there are som things you need to download to use it.
