OHMIGOD!! I was there! I had first seen the Guess Who at this outdoor ampitheatre in the summer of '73. My friend & I were just blown away completely. Burton was wearing a green plaid shirt & sang his little heart out for us. The following summer (1974) we were there & acted like a couple of teenyboppers. Oh wait, we were! When we saw Burton's trailer we jumped up & down until he came out. We so wanted to be those girls with Wolfman Jack when his song came on. Ah memories. Such happy memories.
wow this brings back memories, i took my girlfriend to this concert , now my wife of 35 years, thanks so much for posting this, seen Burton cummings many years later in a solo concert in Kingsville, and still listen to him today, what a great voice
I was at this concert and I agree with North of Superior's comments below. It was at St. Clair College not the U of W and Max Webster was the opening act. It was my first concert and I still remember it well.
I actually did record the show's audio. Got all of it except the complete No Time which ended the show. It was Troiano's first tour with the band. I wish there was better video equipment in those days though.
@starbaby237 What was the full setlist for this show? I'd love to speak with you about getting the audio of the show, as the Flavours album is my favorite by the band.
Does anyone besides me know that the song played in the opening was The Monkees' "Someday Man"?
