  • its good to hear this.this and earlier songs are the essential al stewart that I saw from late 60s onward. hes still good live, and does some surprising old songs, but the year of the cat era and throwaway midatlantic songs tend to dominate, though even these are worth it in a way.

  • I really miss the young Al Stewart with collaborators musicians like Tim Renwick, Rick Wakeman , Brinsley Schwartz among others for this Orange album or the shot in the dark group with the brilliant Peter White in the late 70's to early 80's'. it's a shame the new generation of people underrates his great 1972 Orange as Al himself, but this is another story about wines and Nachmanoffs i really don't like talk about. thanks a lot for posting.

  • Every word rings so true it hurts, I wish I new why, q

  • I'll never forget the night Al & Dave Nachmanoff encored with this at his

last NYC Bottom Line show. Magnificent.

  • Great track. Great album. I bought it when it came out... "I think i'm gonna make it back to Amsterdam..." Corrr, that reminds me..must see if Amsterdam has been uploaded...Cheers mate.

  • A pity Al doesn't like Orange, true his later work was perhaps better quality but still, this isn't bad.
