Go with BT if youre into woodsball. Their products are great and they have the right price for everything. Tippman paintball markers are always very reliable if you take care of them, but are a little pricy. If you have the money, I would reccomend it:)

Im just posting tjis commment to anwser all da questions from all da negginers on wich hun they should get - in my opinion the spyder pilot 09 is a pretty decent gun it has a leap circuit board with semi-auto ramp psp and ramp millenium and this gun only costs lk $140 so i suggest the spyder pilot for all tje begginers oh and also ramp psp basically means whenever you shoot, the gun shoots 2 or 3 extra bullets for you and ramp millenium is basically the same thing as ramp psp but it is a little

this guy is actualy honest about the markers, unlike simmiler vids that point you to expensive usless crap. as a player i have seen far too many expensive markers break down. sometimes simpler is best. it realy depends on what game you like to play. for those who like speed ball an electronic trigger seems standard with a power hopper, your main concern is how many balls you can barrage peeps with. but for anything else accuracy is the more important factor. why waste balls when one shot kills?

@puwpw You should get a sppeed Ball gun with an electronic hopper. Get a speedball gun because unike a woodsball gun, you can use it for woodsball and speedball. A speedball gun can take a lot of abuse. I use an Invert Mini and I've never had a problem with it. I do dives, I've dropped it on concrete floor, smashed it against a tree, etc. A speedball gun shoots faster and can take a lot of abuse so get one.

If you're beginning and don't know what styleof play you'll like best, get a tournament style marker. These are the smaller ones that are typically all shiny and have the double trigger. Azodins and Spyders are cheap but solid guns for this. You can use them ANYWHERE (including in the woods), unlike a tippmann/woodsball gun. I just realized this and I'm going to sell my a5 and get an azodin kaos...

That being said. Pump guns are almost useless now, you will be outshot by anyone and everyone now.

If you play woodsball, go with a Tippmann Gun. I'd reccomend the A-5 or 98 Custom, as they are customizable and REALLY reliable.

I don't know much about speedball, but you will want likely a smart parts ion, or something in that area. As your local paintball field and it's players for advice, and ask if you can try guns on their field. If you need more advice, you're welcome to message me.

You need to figure out things like weight, the bore of your barrel, if it has a clamping feed neck, if the ASA is reliable and doesn't have seal problems, or to get more technical deciding whether you want a poppet or a spool. i love woodsball with a passion but.. i gotta say it, the milsim guns are just a pain in the dick.. all that weight, scopes useless add-ons. not really worth it. think about it, 6+ hrs of gameplay carrying 10+ lbs of extra metal/plastic not including ur tank and pods... definately will kick ur ass ovr a period of time. i got a mod'd 98 cust act with all the works - super rspnse trigg, cyclone feed, new bolts etc. etc. but to be honest with you i wish i would have just bought a tournament gun!

wow, this guy taught us nothing... heres a tip... just buy the most expensive electronic marker you can afford... dont get a tippmann, dont get a mech spyder (I promise you, all paintball guns shoot the same speed... ur tippmann will not hurt more than my ego, and my ego can shoot an infinite times faster than your tippmann and be more air efficient at it...) just go for something that's reliable, and made by a good company ex. Eclipse, Bob long, Dye, Empire ect...
