Looks like a 7M manifold with the original TB location welded shut and the front cut open for a FFIM style manifold

That's the beauty of the FFIM, all of that is routed straight down from the intake manifold instead of across the hot side of the engine, which lets you use an intercooler with in/out tanks on opposite sides instead of the same side like the stock one. No need for a 3000 pipe anymore.

The 7m is a beast if you build it right. I've been running about 300hp on mine for over a year now with no problems. All I need now is a nasty turbo.

only supra i got stock outta my supras is my 87, i push 150 all the time in it and it runs great but if you want to pull out the engine the jz's are a really good choice and you can normally pick one up for about $1000

the 1jz is a iron block as well... the 7m's have GREAT midrange power, lots of bang for the buck, if you ask me... the problem with the 7m's is that toyota got the head bolt torque specs wrong, so most of the 7m's on the streets today have running issues, the 2jz will literally bolt into the mk3 (use 1jz bellhousing and clutch, and 1jz motor mounts), so, that would be your best bet
