I don't undrestand why everyone assumes Kate didn't know until she said "I loved you" that she loved him because she did. Her actions spoke a lot louder then her words ever did. "I couldn't find you" scene, the scene where she saw Sawyer and then Jack lying on the ground after the bomb, she ran to Jack. She felt guilty about Juliet so she helped Sawyer out because he's her friend.
Kate chose Jack before the helicopter left the island.
I also think she would have said I love you when they were a couple. I mean they were engaged, no way did she not say it.
Kate belied she deserved Sawyer, and when she realized she deserved Jack her perspective for both men changed. Sawyer was the man of her past, while Jack was the man fro her future.
She never loved Sawyer, not the way she loved Jack. Anytime she was with Sawyer she was always seeking for Jack.
OK IVE seen this way too many times...but by now it seems during the EPIC kiss Jack pulls her in closer when the camera zooms out to show their whole body :P I could be imagining things but I love the idea of him pulling her closer to him :)
I think it was not necessary to have another kiss. Sun and Jin didn´t have their kiss there or Libby and Hurley too (they had three kisses all the time, I think), the most important thing was the fact that they are together, it was the most important thing.
Btw, we had exactly 6 kisses in all six seasons and I find 5 kisses of these 6 kisses as very good kisses.

That kiss was the best ever! It's heartbreaking that they say 'I love you' now, when Jack is about to die.. Finale was absolutely awesome for us jaters, but I can't stop crying for Lost endinf :( It's really bittersweet

But when each character died no matter what time in their life.. they created the sideway's world together.. so they could remember and see each other again.. and let go together.. It was a beautiful ending!!

@TribalMadonna Claire died at some point in the Future (like after 2010) basically the place was important to all of them not aaron since he does not remember the place, and wasn't really significant to him. This was just for the people on the island basically where they all made a difference (at least the main characters did)

I love their last kiss. I hate how they don't get anymore after. I was looking for one in the Church. I feel a bit incomplete without it.

From the very start I wanted them to end up together. Whether is was a sad or happy ending.
