Not much has evolved? New weapons, co-op, new characters, plot twist that recreates the story, new enemies, new inventory. You say it's redundant when it's the evolved format of Resident Evil 4, but RE 0, 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, outbreak, ex... is not redundant even though they kept the same formula and kept evolving it? (it's important to have that kind of consistency). That statement REALLY confused me. You might also want to explain why the voice acting and co-op were not that great.

RE5 was very fun to play and you get a lot of shit to collect after ending it, like Sheva's fan service amazon outfit, yo ¡u get to kill a bunch of guys with assault rifles and shit, but I have to say the AI had some moments of stupid glitchiness, I rememeber how many Times sheva wasted a clip in my back trying to shoot a majini I was shooting already. and well the story was very generic, just an excuse to put you in awesome fights.
I would've preferred if they had just released a Res Evil 4 ep2 on Gamecube where you get a ton more Ada stuff, maybe something happens after they jet ski out of there, or something. Just a bunch more RE4 scenarios. Maybe a "what if" and put in a bunch of old characters, good and bad, etc

Resident Evil sucks. Its a good action game and a terrible survival horror game. I felt like playing CALL OF DUTY instead of those great, classical, full of suspense and mistery RESIDENT EVIL 1, REMAKE, 2, Codename Veronica and 4. Its an extreme copy of 4, but worse because of the XTREME ACTION, stupid cut scenes, and terrible story: WESKER wants to spread UROBOROS virus, turning humans in superhumans, and wants to be considered a god...the leader of a new era...FUCK CAPCOM!!!
People always make the mistake of blaming the voice actors for bad acting in a video game, and that's completely wrong. You can't blame someone for something that isn't their fault. Most of the time you can pin the blame on the voice director, but even then in video games you have deadlines to meet and a budget to stick to. So even he/she may just be doing his/her job in shortening the recording sessions or precess. Actors work hard and they can't hone a character after only 2 hours in a booth.

I tried the demo of RE5 (never played ANY RE in my life) and I hated the controls. I seriously tried all 4 control schemes and couldn't get comfortable with any of them...so obviously I didn't get it.
I'm way with the guy that's screaming for Capcom to take this franchise back to its survival horror roots. It was much more interesting that way and is what the game is rooted in. We have a quadzillion fucking action games out there right now that do it much better, so wtf is the point? Survival horror = Resident Evil. Take pride and do it right.
Secondly, I bought this game and have played it twice since. The AI of Sheva is 110% shit, which ruins it for single player. Capcom can eat my ass.
another thing to say is NOT ALL gamers LIKE CO-OP. Adding coop to a game which originally didn't have doesn't work. Sure MGS did a wonderful online mode, but it doesn't work in everything.
Also, rather than trying to cater to all audiences and get a mediocre game for all, try to improve and strengthen the style of gameplay that made the game great and cater to those who actually loved the game. It might even get new audiences if it was that awesome.
RE5 was a cool game, I really enjoyed playing through it, but what i want is another actual Resident Evil game, i want my old tank controls! My theory for RE5 is that it is Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 0.......4+0 doesn't equal 5.

The dialogue for wesker was a joke.
Literally awfull dialogue.
The game became very repetitive at certian moments,and it felt longer.
The actuall mercenary game in resident evil 5 is better than it was in resident evil 4,and more fun because of being able to play online.

RE5 was very fun to play and you get a lot of shit to collect after ending it, like Sheva's fan service amazon outfit, yo ¡u get to kill a bunch of guys with assault rifles and shit, but I have to say the AI had some moments of stupid glitchiness, I rememeber how many Times sheva wasted a clip in my back trying to shoot a majini I was shooting already. and well the story was very generic, just an excuse to put you in awesome fights.

I would've preferred if they had just released a Res Evil 4 ep2 on Gamecube where you get a ton more Ada stuff, maybe something happens after they jet ski out of there, or something. Just a bunch more RE4 scenarios. Maybe a "what if" and put in a bunch of old characters, good and bad, etc

CO-OP + Resident Evil = As against the premise as humanly possible. If they want to remake the series AGAIN and base it around Co-op, fine. Don't base it around RE4 cause it will be fail.

i agree with you in one thing the game by itself wasn't that scary but the shitty controls made much more terrifying to have a zombie walking towards you, thus making the whole game scary, have you ever played the remake version of RE1 on the game cube? i dunno about you but i shit my pants :D

I feel like RE5 because its amazing in my eyes when you wanna play co op. But you need to understand its not the same RE its delivers a different tone. Its an awesome game but they need some new elements, overall i really enjoyed it, but chris redfield cant pull it off for me either. Leon fro number 4 is so much cooler.

Resident Evil sucks. Its a good action game and a terrible survival horror game. I felt like playing CALL OF DUTY instead of those great, classical, full of suspense and mistery RESIDENT EVIL 1, REMAKE, 2, Codename Veronica and 4. Its an extreme copy of 4, but worse because of the XTREME ACTION, stupid cut scenes, and terrible story: WESKER wants to spread UROBOROS virus, turning humans in superhumans, and wants to be considered a god...the leader of a new era...FUCK CAPCOM!!!

People always make the mistake of blaming the voice actors for bad acting in a video game, and that's completely wrong. You can't blame someone for something that isn't their fault. Most of the time you can pin the blame on the voice director, but even then in video games you have deadlines to meet and a budget to stick to. So even he/she may just be doing his/her job in shortening the recording sessions or precess. Actors work hard and they can't hone a character after only 2 hours in a booth.

the previous games up untill code veronica had the exact same gampelay and an almost equal plot, Go around killign zombies and then fight the tyrant, part 2 and 3 happened in the same city, I don't know why people keep saying that the older ones were any better

The only thing I really found to be unique about RE5 was the fact that later on, the enemies get guns, and that the game was very poorly paced.

One thing that he seemed to have forgotten was that a side effect of having a plaga is wanting to put a bag over your head and dismember people with a chainsaw. I guess that is a common goal of every person with a plaga in them, as it transcends continent and nationality

I tried the demo of RE5 (never played ANY RE in my life) and I hated the controls. I seriously tried all 4 control schemes and couldn't get comfortable with any of them...so obviously I didn't get it.

I'm way with the guy that's screaming for Capcom to take this franchise back to its survival horror roots. It was much more interesting that way and is what the game is rooted in. We have a quadzillion fucking action games out there right now that do it much better, so wtf is the point? Survival horror = Resident Evil. Take pride and do it right.
Secondly, I bought this game and have played it twice since. The AI of Sheva is 110% shit, which ruins it for single player. Capcom can eat my ass.

another thing to say is NOT ALL gamers LIKE CO-OP. Adding coop to a game which originally didn't have doesn't work. Sure MGS did a wonderful online mode, but it doesn't work in everything.
Also, rather than trying to cater to all audiences and get a mediocre game for all, try to improve and strengthen the style of gameplay that made the game great and cater to those who actually loved the game. It might even get new audiences if it was that awesome.
