If you see the play, Wright puts his hands up in the air after bumping as if to say "I didn't foul him". Many players put their hands up after making some contact to say no foul. Wright did not argue the no-call until after Melo made the shot by pointing at the spot on the floor in which he supposedly douled him. If Wright's intention was to foul, he should've made it CLEARER. It was only a chest bump, which doesnt get called a lot. If Melo missed that 3, none of the mavs would be arguing.

That being said, it is hard to complain much when Antoine Wright, like a moron, throws his hands back after fouling Melo as if indicating to the official he doesn't want the foul called on him. You don't throw your hands back in that situation, as if trying to tell the official not to call a foul. You grab on to the opponent, wrap him up, don't let his arms even get started in a shooting motion and make it impossible not to call a foul.

All I'm wondering is how, even if they missed the foul when it initially happened (even though they shouldn't have b/c the ref was 3 ft away from the play) how did they not see the foul on the instant replay when they checked it? And then they(the league), just 5 hours later, say "Oops, my bad" This is the epitome of poor officiating.

If you see the play, Wright puts his hands up in the air after bumping as if to say "I didn't foul him". Many players put their hands up after making some contact to say no foul. Wright did not argue the no-call until after Melo made the shot by pointing at the spot on the floor in which he supposedly douled him. If Wright's intention was to foul, he should've made it CLEARER. It was only a chest bump, which doesnt get called a lot. If Melo missed that 3, none of the mavs would be arguing.

They should have capitilized on it. They act as if that call was the worst in NBA History. Yea, they wanted to foul and they tried to foul.. but Cmon.. that was a pussy attempt at a foul. That was like a lil touch. And if Carmelo had missed it.. I'm sure that he wouldn't have bitched. He has class unlike Dallas.

Hey...I'm not taking ANYTHING away from the Denver Nuggets. No doubt that they are the best right now in the West. But seriously...get real. Of course there are things we could have done better during the game to help us win even with that controversial call but we didn't. And that fault lies with the Mavs; however, it's completely UNFAIR that the whole outcome of the game came down to a ref's NO-CALL.

It wasn't an obvious foul IMO. It was obvious that they wanted to foul but when I saw the game live, I couldn't even tell there was a foul. And when I saw the replay.. I thought that he wanted to foul but didn't sell it enough. He kinda just bumped in to him. The Mavs should have informed the Refs that they were gonna intentional foul. The Mavs have no reason to complain. Birdman out, Nene and Melo at 5 fouls. I mean.. LOL The Mavs arn't the only team to have a bad call go against them.

Just because the Mavs aren't the only victims does not mean we can't plead our case. In fact, I, along with probably almost everyone excluding the Nugget fans, believe we shouldn't even be TRYING to make a point. I think that they should be on the courts trying to think of new ways to stop the Nuggets and take game 4 to tie the series. But now...the Mavs are in a desperate situation in which statistics and history goes all out AGAINST the Mavs.

Hey...I thought Derek Fisher had class...but we all saw that he didn't after that flagrant during the Rockets game. And stop classifying the whole Mavs team as not classy or bad. They may not be the most talented team or the most athletic like Nuggets, but they are probably one of the hardest working teams. As I've said before, that veteran ref should have known the situation and the intent even if he didn't think it was hard enough. But i assure you, that was hard ENOUGH to have been a foul.

Never said the series and TD also said that he didn't think that Mavs could beat Nuggets in the series.
But don't you think that it'd be a little better if the Mavs got eliminated after winning at least one game...instead of going out after 4 straight games and wondering what alternate endings there could have been if that call had been made?
Honestly, I think it would be alot better for the Nuggets to have lost that game and then won the series. It would take away no credit whatsoever..

And nobody cares about his arms, FACT is: he fouled him, it OBVIOUSLY shows on the tape. He raised his arms to show CLEARLY that he wasn't fouling the shot after he fouled him on the dribble, DUH. Dumbfuck.

In this league, you've basically got to shove the person to the floor to get a call.
Rockets/Lakers game, they didn't call ANYTHING on the inside under the baskets when Brooks/Lowry/Scola/Landry/Artest all went to the basket, guarded by 2-3 people, took the shot, and NO fouls. You can't tell me there wasn't any contact on ANY of those plays.
Lakers stole Game 3 just like Denver stole Game 3. Because of poor officiating.

It was obviously a foul at the end. That being said, it is hard to complain much when Antoine Wright, like a moron, throws his hands back after fouling Melo as if indicating to the official he doesn't want the foul called on him. You don't throw your hands back in that situation, as if trying to tell the official not to call a foul. You grab on to the opponent, wrap him up, don't let his arms even get started in a shooting motion and make it impossible not to call a foul.
