  • Great Expectations can eat shit and die!!! I hated that book!! Still do.

  • they need to play this in kindergartens

  • sometimes Y??

  • hahahahhahahha!! Ya vi los pekeñines cantando esto!!!

  • i think damien deserves a negative A+++

  • lol why didn't they play this when i was in pre K and kindergarden and my second year in kindergarden, and 1st grade

  • hail the anti-christ

  • R.I.P. Rob.

In memory of you I will rock out twice as hard on bass than I did before.

  • ok...

  • 1. Did this take a long time to make? I bet it did. Way to go! I really like it. Gave me a good laugh.

    2. Where the hell did you find the music? It's hilarious!

Overall, wonderful job! I thoroughly enjoyed it. =D

  • Yes, this took me a few days to make video-wise. SouthPark creator really did the bulk of the work

As far as the music, that is my music. I wrote it and performed all of the parts, except the drums, which I programmed.

  • so that was Damien's voice?

  • no. this is not even south park.

  • No, it is an animation I did with South Park creator to go along with the video of my music.

  • lol

  • wth XD lol

    Can't -giggles- stop -ahahahaha- laughing!!!

  • That's the idea!

  • this reminds me of nuclear rabbit... if you havent heard of them you should give them a listen on myspace..

  • great song man!

can i request that you do a cover of hook in mouth by megadeth? no covers of it on youtube

  • Yes you can, and a good choice. I was wondering if anyone was even interested in anything off of So Far So Good...So What? It's not one of Megadeth's more celebrated albums.

  • also could u do mary jane and rattlehead or mechanix :P ive been trying to learn some megadeth songs on bass bad but there hard

  • can ou also do Anarchy In The U.K. its my favorite off that album

  • dude

    do in my darkest hour

    or

    hook in mouth

  • XD Awsome.

  • kewl stuff rock on \m/

  • Priceless.

  • Ha haaaa, that was awesome!! The vid was well put together too. (Very nice choice with the Emu.)

  • Love the song and the vid man! You fuckin rocked that shit! Mad props on the drummin for sure. I just recently have started learning drums but I definately don't match your skills on the skins or the bass for that matter. Well keep up the hot rockin and I'll be sure to keep watchin!

  • whos the band i love it

  • I'm the band...it's an original.

  • oh its really kickass

  • Thanks. I'm sure the other guys that were in my band, "Mojo bobfoot" would be very happy to hear that, as well. We wrote music to make people laugh, and so a chuckle and a wink is as good as a gold record to us.

By the way, you (or anyone else interested) can download this tune for free from my channel page. Just click the "buy" link next to the album thumb and it will take you to the download page (trust me, it's free...youtube will not let me change the "buy" link into a "download" link).

  • Tell them if they need ¨bitch¨ they could call me

    XD

  • hahahaha

  • Pretty funny, zodiak! What inspired u to write a song about vowels, though? I thought u said on ur channel that u were a scientist....

  • LOL...I am a scientist, but in 1993 when these tunes were written, I was a convenience store employee taking night classes. Most of Mojo Bobfoot's music was didactic to one degree or another....I believe in education.

  • hahahah, the best part is "and all the other grammatical SHITT!!"

  • thanx clyde is also cool i'm new here

  • thanx for useing me in there!

  • No problem....you're one of my favorite characters. :)

  • HAHA good

  • awesome

  • COOOOLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

  • Educational and a learning experience for the whole family!

  • cool

  • sweeeeeeeeet

  • hey i kno i hav commented here before but here is a bit of news for you, the band Zimmers Hole have a new album with a song called The Vowel Song featuring Nathan Explosion of Dethklok

  • i love this song:D

  • Party time! Excellent !

  • I have long since moved from the Houston area....I live in Ohio, now. But no matter, I am not playing gigs here, either. LOL. You cn find my old guitar player "Fancypants" there, though. His band is called the Squishees (formerly the Slurpees, but they got sued).

And yes, Great Expectations was the first book ever assigned to me in school that I could not get through. I have no idea why people like Dickens...he's a long-winded bastard.

  • RE: .....

  • I must say these are the most cryptic comments I have ever received.

  • .....

  • Not what you expected? I used the South Park javascript character generator and animated them for this video. This is definitely not South Park, just my music put to video format.

  • ...lol

  • lmao man that was one of the greatest songs ever concieved.

can i download that somewhere or something? i already listen to it on repeat on youtube lol

  • message me your email address, and the file is yours.

  • hahahaha, that was great!

  • Damien xD that kid is so cool man hehe!

  • love it dude it'd be a great to see it featured except you said shit

  • Yeah....Mojo was pretty hard-core...we played some seedy dives back then...real avante garde. Probably 75% of our songs had some form of cursing in it, albeit sparingly. Heh...and I have no illusions of any of my vids being featured; that's for people with real talent.

  • Men I JUST SOOOO LIKE the bass when it comes in the tune!...

  • Thanks, Tino. It's my favorite part, too...of course I have a bass bias for some reason.

  • I guess it's you playing the song...why don't you upload a LIVE video of the bass ?

  • Hmmm...that could be done, I suppose, but I would have to replace the bass part on this video with whatever I play live. I could do it, though because I have all of the tracks as well as the mixing file saved. Intresting idea.

I just got more Mojo from Erik "Fancypants", so I will probably do more of that, for sure. The bass is far more intresting on most of those tunes. This song is just a funny filler.

  • By the way, grammar is spelled with an "A". My wife pointedthat out. Whoops.

  • Genius.

  • Insanity is something that Mojo Bobfoot did well.

  • Awesome! Made me think of Mr. Bungle. :)

  • hahaha oh god I had Great Expectations for summer reading this year. I thought I was gonna kill myself.

  • Hilarious man, why no band now a days?

  • Well, for the last five years I have been finishing my Ph.D., so there hasn't really been the time. I was in a couple of bands when I first got here to Ohio, but they didn't work out so I gave up.

  • Bravo! I especially liked the Jack-Daniels-fitered-through-a-sandbag-two-packs-of-no-filter-camels-a-day-Grover-death-metal voice for Sometimes Y! This posting is, as nairbfry mentioned, an educational video as the 'AEIOU and sometimes Y' chorus is now indelibly etched upon my mind (scarred rather). PMP for sure.

  • PMP? What's that?

The bottom line is that I cannot sing....never could. I can do impersonations and a variety of death/thrash metal voices, which suffices for Mojo music. Our original vocalist was way funnier and way better than I...I only did the death metal voices on this tune.

  • PMP=Pissed My Pants

  • LOL. okay.

  • lol nice

  • Rob,you sure are gettin' good at that video editing! Love the animation, nice job getting everything to sync up! A,E,I,O,U, & sometimes Y! Finally an educational video on youtube! 5/5

  • Yes, we used to introduce this song and a couple more as the "Educational Portion of our show". We also used to tach people to not give their milk money to the schoolyard bully and to rotate their tires regularly. Mojo Bobfoot was one of the most fun musical experiments I ever did. Lots of laughs, and they let me do anything I wanted with the bass.

  • Nice

  • Very creative, and fun. Amazing video work there Rob! You got 10 stars for that. I don't know much about video creation, but I do know, it's not easy! *high five*

  • It's not that easy. First, you need characters, then you need mouths and have to do some minor tweaks to the characters. Then you need a background, and then you need to make an animated gif of each piece, then you......well, it is FAR more involved than in enivisoned originally. I won't be doing many of these, I think. Live action is so much easier.

  • I lol'd

  • That's the point. Mojo Bobfoot was a comedy metal band in the spirit of SOD, Minutemen, Primus. Thatks for stopping by.

  • Well, then I'll just say it again...

We can only expect awesomeness from the LRRG leader! *bows* *claps* *cheers* ... or something like that.

  • Leader? Who said anything about a leader? Can I request a re-vote?

Seriously Pook...thanks for stopping by and commenting again. I alsways feel bad when youtube eats an anonymous poster's comment....for someone I actually give a crap about, the feeling is worse.

  • Hey, you started the movement, you're the leader. Sorry dude, it's just the way it is! XD

I rarely watch any of your videos just once, so you're welcome I stopped by again! It wasn't much of a sacrifice!

  • I figured out what went wrong, the comments that needed approval disappeared and the ones that did not went through fine. I changed the parameters of the video so all comments should go through now. Apologies to pook, bill, kyle, nate, and brain for their comments being eaten up.

  • brian, I mean.

  • i wish my teachers had played this for me......

  • Mine played tunes for me to remember stuff (like multiplication tables), but the tunes were cheezy....over time, my heavy metal odyssey made those cheezy songs twist up in my head and take on a life of their own. "The Vowel Song" is an example of this.

  • Wow, very impressive, and creative work there Rob! I had to watch it twice. Kudo's to you on the video work. 10 stars.

  • WOW i was expecting a new cover to come from you lol

  • Well, I still will do covers, but I really wanted to get an original or two out there before I overloaded y'all with more Primus, 311, Maiden, etc. I'm glad to see you laughing at the end...the point of the music is to make people laugh.

  • Weird...I cannot see anyone's comments to approve of them. Bummer.

  • Not only was it rockin' but it was educational! Love the animation. 5/5

  • Bravo! I heard the audio portion of this when you sent it to me and now that the video is complete and I've watched it a couple times I have to tell you that as an educational tool its very effective cuz I can get the AEIOU and somtimes Y melody out of my head, I'm scarred. Great job Thumper.

  • In this day and age, if I was his teacher I'd be afraid NOT to give him an A+ on his report

"That's a good thing you did, Damien, a real good thing."

  • Wow, man. Now I know why you haven't been posting videos as often as you used to. Making an original video of an original song sure is commitment, specially when everything in it is done by a single person, well done!

Claps and cheers to you, oh LRRG leader.
