The sound damage comment in the description is true. I have the 15 (going on 30) watt, and ive turned it to 6, and my right ear sounded like i had a Q-Tip™ in it for about 2 hours. VERY LOUD AMPS.
I am thinking of this or the 75W for my basement studio, mostly to jam along with drums, a second guitar, bass, and vocals. Would the 30W be sufficient, do you think, if a drummer plays pretty loud (think Dave Grohl loud)?
I have this amp, therefore I can vouch for it's ass-kicking noise levels. I've had it to "13" on 2 occasions, and it literally felt like someone was punching you in your eardrums.
Yeah this fucker can get loud. In my backyard it was only cranked to about 3 and it could be heard well. For jamming my friend put it to 7 or so lol. kinda loud but with drums its like that. I turned it down to about 5-6 or so. thats our sweet spot for jammin i guess now.
LoL, I just bought the 100 watt 2-12 combo to trigger the seismology equipment here on the East Coast. I'm going to crank it to 13 and see if it causes an earthquake.
Beyond your funny comments ("and I have parkinson") and the awesome sunset xD I'm getting the Vypyr Tube 60 watt (almost as loud as a 120 watt solid state :D)... I'm wondering if I will be able to play it in my bedroom and the killer tones I will get from it :D
120's are both tube (combo & head)& the 30 will easily make you deaf if you turned it up can't see how you'd use it in your room, in my room i won't turn my 30 past 2
Yea, I don't think they have a 120w solid state? Both tube versions are too loud for bedroom practice in my opinion. It's better for full band rehearsals and medium-sized gigs. But hey if I had the money back then I would get the tube 60w over the solid 30w any day. I'm thinking of upgrading to the tube 120w soon.
@30RoundClipsTV I have the 60 tube since 1 week now.. man it's a sick amp! I have to keep it UNDER the 1 on the master volume knob oftenly, if you go on the 2 then your neighbour will surely hear it :P (I live in a block of flats). Too bad I can't get the real sound from the tube saturation, I will be able to really play it in some live situation :P but still I think it's as good as the solid state version to practice home :D
there are plenty of places that look similar to this and cjs place in gta sa. its called a "cul-de-sac"; i believe.

is the 30 watt loud enough for small gigs?
i've tried the 75 watt but with the power sponge totally down and the volume almost on 0 and i still blowed the brains out of me xD
and do they freeze alot? the 75 watt ive tried already had a broken button...

So this 30 watt version should definitely be loud enough to play with a band and cut through really well?
