@sslayerr Johnson's are not suppose to be fat..but a lot of them are over weight! they have a heavier bone structure but should not be fat..and a lot of them still have a lot of drive. Most people think BIGGER is better and breed to try and get the biggest when clearly BIGGER is not always better.

there is a thompson breed and a johnson breed both are similar. johnsons have shorter noses and has a bigger chest. thompsons have more muscular frame and durable for working standing a little taller

the dog is without the paperwork so i'm not sure what his bloodline is however i am sure it is a full bred american bulldog but if you look stuff up about them you will find that there are 3 types of american bulldogs the victorian type the spartan type and a cross mixed fromt hese 2 types seeing as that this one is quite large i would say it is an spartan type ab so if you would look for a breeder breeding the spartan type you might get one as big as this one but its not the size that matters
